YUNDT, of Stratford, passed away at the Stratford
General Hospital on Sunday, April 24, 2005 in her 87 year. Born
in North Easthope Township, she was a daughter of Henry and Lydia
(SOEDER)
SCHMIDT.
She had been an active member of Zion Lutheran
Church in Stratford, the Evangelical Lutheran Women, Zippy Zioners
and had taught Sunday School for several years. Beloved wife
of Guilford (Jim)
YUNDT, whom she married at the church Parsonage
on June 15, 1940. Dear mother of Wayne

REBLE will officiate. Interment will be in Avondale Cemetery,

Suddenly on December 21, 2005 at the age of 83. George was born
in Ottawa on April 10, 1922. He enlisted in the Royal Canadian
Navy at the outbreak of World War 2 and rose from Midshipman
to Lieutenant Commander, surviving the sinking of his ship, the
Levis, in 1941. He has lived in every region and most major cities
in Canada, working in financial roles in various capacities particularly
in the mining industry. He retired in 1982 and moved to Victoria,
British Columbia. George is survived by his wife of 47 years,

by 11 loving grandchildren.
A celebration of George's life will be held at First Memorial

2: 00 p.m. with a reception to follow in the Holly Room. If desired,

Foundation.

in his 87th year on Easter Sunday, March 27th, 2005 in London,

born in Folkestone, England on May 29th, 1918, the
son of Harry
MANSBRIDGE (Princess Patricia Canadian Light Infantry) and Alice
(TAILOR/TAYLOR)
MANSBRIDGE. He was the last of his immediate family,
predeceased by his parents, four brothers and one sister.
Mr. MANSBRIDGE passionately believed in public service, and served
with distinction the Royal Air Force (1939-1946) the Governments
of Great Britain and Malaya (1946-1954), the Government of Canada
(1954-1976), the Government of Alberta (1976-1981) and the University
of Victoria (1981-1986).
Mr. MANSBRIDGE is survived by his devoted wife of sixty-one wonderful
years, Brenda Louise. The cherished father of Wendy, Peter and
Paul and father-in-law of Douglas
