YUNDT, Marie Elizabeth (née SCHMIDT)
Marie Elizabeth YUNDT, of Stratford, passed away at the Stratford General Hospital on Sunday, April 24, 2005 in her 87 year. Born in North Easthope Township, she was a daughter of Henry and Lydia (SOEDER) SCHMIDT. She had been an active member of Zion Lutheran Church in Stratford, the Evangelical Lutheran Women, Zippy Zioners and had taught Sunday School for several years. Beloved wife of Guilford (Jim) YUNDT, whom she married at the church Parsonage on June 15, 1940. Dear mother of Wayne YUNDT and wife Dianne of Stratford and Jean GOMEZ and husband John of Ottawa. Dear grandmother of Jennifer REES and husband Rob of Stratford, Candice McARTHUR and husband Andrew of Stratford, Christina GOMEZ and fiancé Mark MacDONALD of Smiths Falls, Julia GOMEZ and friend Simon LEE of Ottawa, Andrew, Lindsay, Laura and Mark BRENNAN all of Stratford. Also surviving are great grandchildren Sebastian, Liam, Ciaran and Bronwyn REES and Meghan and Owen McARTHUR; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Hazel SCHMIDT, Tavistock, Frances SCHMIDT, Stratford, Alex BINKLE and wife Joyce, Stratford, Bob HEAZLIT, Clarkston, Michigan and Irene YUNDT of Stratford; several nieces, nephews and their families. She was predeceased by one grand_son Eric GOMEZ; brothers Alf, Lorne, Harold, Peter and Bert SCHMIDT sisters Pearl BAUMBACH, Mabel LITT, Edna YUNDT, Edith SCHWANTZ, Erma BINKLE and Shirley HEAZLIT; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Mae YUNDT, Florence YUNDT, Jean YUNDT, Adela RIEHL, Lorna SCHMIDT, Florence WILHELM, Edward BAUMBACH, Edgar LITT, Welland SCHWANTZ, Oliver WILHELM, Goldwin YUNDT, Bertram YUNDT, Eric YUNDT and Milton RIEHL. Relatives and Friends may call at the Heinbuck Funeral Home, 156 Albert Street, Stratford on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Zion Lutheran Church, Stratford on Wednesday, April 27, 2005 at 2 p.m. Reverend Douglas REBLE will officiate. Interment will be in Avondale Cemetery, Stratford. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, Heart and Stroke Foundation, Stratford Hospital Palliative Care Unit or Zion Lutheran Church through the funeral home. At University Hospital, London on Thursday, June 30, 2005 Hazel Martha (GREB) (BARRETT) JAMES of London and formerly of Palmerston. Beloved wife of the late Robert L. JAMES (2002) and the late William (Ed) BARRETT (1963.) Dear mother of Suzanne and Neil YUNGBLUT of Fordwich and Judy and Wayne DARROCH of Lucan. Dear grandmother of Shelley and Rob BURTON of Toronto, and Joanne and Lloyd QUIPP of Monkton; Jacqueline DARROCH of Exeter and Natalie DARROCH of Lucan and great-grandmother of Rachel and Jessica; and Kristen and Susie. Hazel will be sadly missed by her nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sisters Dorthea ROSE, Ruth CRAWFORD, Marie MILLER and brother Douglas GREB. GOODEVE, Arthur George
Suddenly on December 21, 2005 at the age of 83. George was born in Ottawa on April 10, 1922. He enlisted in the Royal Canadian Navy at the outbreak of World War 2 and rose from Midshipman to Lieutenant Commander, surviving the sinking of his ship, the Levis, in 1941. He has lived in every region and most major cities in Canada, working in financial roles in various capacities particularly in the mining industry. He retired in 1982 and moved to Victoria, British Columbia. George is survived by his wife of 47 years, Alice; beloved father of Philip GOODEVE, Susan (David) MARTIN, Anne (Ron) YUNGWIRTH and Victoria (Ian) NOBLE. He is also survived by 11 loving grandchildren.
A celebration of George's life will be held at First Memorial Funeral Chapel, 1155 Fort Street, on Wednesday, December 28 at 2: 00 p.m. with a reception to follow in the Holly Room. If desired, donations in George's memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

MANSBRIDGE, Stanley Harry
It is with deep love, respect and enormous sadness that the family of Stanley Harry MANSBRIDGE announces that he died peacefully in his 87th year on Easter Sunday, March 27th, 2005 in London, Ontario. Wing Commander MANSBRIDGE, Royal Air Force, D.F.C. was born in Folkestone, England on May 29th, 1918, the son of Harry MANSBRIDGE (Princess Patricia Canadian Light Infantry) and Alice (TAILOR/TAYLOR) MANSBRIDGE. He was the last of his immediate family, predeceased by his parents, four brothers and one sister.
Mr. MANSBRIDGE passionately believed in public service, and served with distinction the Royal Air Force (1939-1946) the Governments of Great Britain and Malaya (1946-1954), the Government of Canada (1954-1976), the Government of Alberta (1976-1981) and the University of Victoria (1981-1986).
Mr. MANSBRIDGE is survived by his devoted wife of sixty-one wonderful years, Brenda Louise. The cherished father of Wendy, Peter and Paul and father-in-law of Douglas GUNN, Cynthia DALE and Susan MANSBRIDGE. The much admired grandfather of Jennifer MANSBRIDGE, Lisa GUNN, David GUNN, Pamela MANSBRIDGE, Andrew GUNN, Wendy MANSBRIDGE, Christopher MANSBRIDGE, Thomas MANSBRIDGE and William MANSBRIDGE, and the great-grandfather of Alexandra GUNN and Honor Mansbridge HINCHEY. Special Poppa to Jordan HINCHEY, Joy YUNKER, Cameron DILAY and Heather WIRICK. A private family service will be held in Saint Thomas, Ontario on Friday April 1st. 2005. A service of dedication will be held in the late spring. Arrangements through Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin Street, Saint Thomas, Ontario.
