Dear husband of Lily, loving father of Paul and his wife Nicole, Shirley and her spouse Nigel, James, and grandfather of Tyler. Friends will be received by the family at the Glen Oaks Reception Centre, 3164 Ninth Line, (at Dundas), Oakville, 905-257-8822 on Friday, July 15 from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to take place in the chapel on Saturday at 11: 00 a.m. Burial to take place at Glen Oaks Memorial Gardens.

Peacefully at London Health Sciences Centre Victoria Hospital on August 27, 2005, Mr. Tom WOOD of Ilderton in his 74th year. Beloved husband of Katherine WOOD. Loving father of Helen BAIN (Dave HALL,) Donna HOUSE (Wayne,) Debra HARRIS (Tim,) Elaine WOOD (Scott BARCLAY) and step father of Louisa CHAN (Daniel,) Carmen LEE (Gus,) Eugene YUE (Haidy) and Carrie LIGHTFOOT (Larry.) Cherished grandfather of Emily BAIN, Darren HOUSE (Erin,) Rachel HOUSE, Courtney, Jessica and Jordan HARRIS, Nathan, Devin and Taylor CARROTHERS, Jennifer and Jonathan CHAN, Matthew LEE, Alexandra and Ryan LIGHTFOOT. PÉTERFY, László Károly, B.A.Sc., P.Eng.
Passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2005 at Toronto Hospital - General Division at the age of 72. Beloved husband of Ann. Loving Father of Kathy (Steve COXFORD.) Cherished Grandpa of Peter and Andrew, and a baby expected in the next week. "Les" was born in Hungary in 1933, son of Major Károly PÉTERFY and Dr. Margit DOBOZY, was predeceased by his younger brother Szabolcs and is survived by his sister Katalin who resides in Budapest. He began his engineering studies at the University of Sopron. He left Hungary at the time of the 1956 Revolution and shortly found his way to Canada. He finished his engineering degree at the University of Toronto and began a long career in the construction industry. Les enjoyed his family, the cottage, travelling, skiing, sailing, good food and a glass of wine. Friends may call on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, September 2, 2005 at 11 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church (on Yonge Street, just south of Lawrence). Interment to follow at Mount Hope Cemetery. A special thank you to Dr. John TRACHTENBERG and Clarence YUE, of the Princess Margaret Hospital, and to Marg JACKSON of St. Elizabeth Health Care. Passed away peacefully on January 31st, 2005, in Mississauga, at the age of ninety-two. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife Thiane-Yonne, his four beloved sons and daughters-in-law: Roger and Holan, Robert and Monique, Edward and Arlette, Richard and Florence, as well as his five daughters and sons-in-law: Jacqueline and Mike, Liliane and Bernard, Catherine and Gerard, Emilie and Herve, and Niat-Yan and François. He will be fondly remembered by his twenty-one cherished grandchildren. He also leaves to mourn many relatives and Friends here and abroad. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 3rd from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and on Friday, February 4th from 10: 30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at The Simple Alternative Funeral Centre, Mississauga Chapel, 1535 South Gateway Road, Mississauga, 905-602-1580. With love and sorrow we announce the passing of John YUEN, in his 82nd year. Loving husband of Cynthia. Beloved father of Ingrid (Clifford), Margaret, Monica (Otello), Susanne (Mark), Yvonne (How Chin), Elaine (Ed) and Gordon (Lena). He will be sadly missed and remembered by his grandchildren Belinda (Ilich), Janelle (Ariel), Jacqueline, Lori, Mark, Emily, Sophie, Michael, Ashley and Joshua. Dear brother of Edward (Grace) and sister-in-law Elizabeth. Loving uncle of Theresa, Charmaine, Liz, Lisa and Derek. Sadly missed by family and Friends.
