Passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2005 at Toronto Hospital -
General Division at the age of 72. Beloved husband of Ann. Loving
Father of Kathy (Steve

Andrew, and a baby expected in the next week. "Les" was born
in Hungary in 1933,
son of Major Károly
PÉTERFY and Dr. Margit
DOBOZY, was predeceased by his younger brother Szabolcs and is
survived by his sister Katalin who resides in Budapest. He began
his engineering studies at the University of Sopron. He left
Hungary at the time of the 1956 Revolution and shortly found
his way to Canada. He finished his engineering degree at the
University of Toronto and began a long career in the construction
industry. Les enjoyed his family, the cottage, travelling, skiing,
sailing, good food and a glass of wine. Friends may call on Thursday
from 7 to 9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street,
at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Mass will be held on
Friday, September 2, 2005 at 11 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Roman
Catholic Church (on Yonge Street, just south of Lawrence). Interment
to follow at Mount Hope Cemetery. A special thank you to Dr.

Passed away peacefully on January 31st, 2005, in Mississauga,
at the age of ninety-two. He will be greatly missed by his loving
wife Thiane-Yonne, his four beloved sons and daughters-in-law:
Roger and Holan, Robert and Monique, Edward and Arlette, Richard
and Florence, as well as his five daughters and sons-in-law:
Jacqueline and Mike, Liliane and Bernard, Catherine and Gerard,
Emilie and Herve, and Niat-Yan and François. He will be fondly
remembered by his twenty-one cherished grandchildren. He also
leaves to mourn many relatives and Friends here and abroad. Visitation
