It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Josephte (Jody)
Fleur Angela
HARPER on December 21st, 2005. Jody died peacefully
at her home after a brief illness at the age of 76. Daughter
of the late Col. James Ivan and Oswald
McSLOY, she was the loving
wife of Dr. John (Jack)
HARPER for 52 years and loving mother
of Mary, Ann, Elizabeth, Jody, Pauline and Jacqueline; grandmother
of Stephanie, Rebecca, Alex and Georges; younger sister of Hope
(Don) McLARTY.
Jody will be lovingly remembered by her nieces,
nephews, family and Friends as an enthusiastic lover of life
with an outgoing personality. A graduate of the Loretto Abbey
class of 1947, and later, a nursing graduate of St. Michael's
Hospital, Jody played an active role as an alumna, as well as
in her parish and community. Sincerest thanks to all the staff
at Forest Hill Place for all of their compassion and care; and
to our wonderful helpers - Celia, Ruby, Catalina, Yoli and Perla.
Friends may call at the Trull 'North Toronto' Funeral Home and
Cremation Centre, 2704 Yonge Street, Toronto, (5 blocks south of
Lawrence Ave.) on Thursday December 22 from 7-9 p.m. and Friday
December 23 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral Mass of the Resurrection
to celebrate Jody's life and spirit will be held on Saturday
December 24 at 10: 00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Church, 354 St. Clair
Avenue West, Toronto. Interment to follow at Mount Hope Cemetery.
