SHELDRICK,
Donald
Marshall
Died peacefully on Saturday, February 19, 2005 at The Pines in
Bracebridge in his 90th year. Don is survived by his wife Margaret
Gillham BELLERSEN, his sons Douglas (Pirkko) and Brian (Susan)
and granddaughters, Liisa and Katie. Fondly remembered by his
brother Jack and sister-in-law Audrey. Predeceased by his first
wife Margaret
(Peggie)
MULLENS in 1976 and brother Edward (Ted)
in 1985. Don will be sadly missed by Doreen and Harold
McCOFFERY
and family. Don retired from the Toronto Dominion Bank in 1978
after a 44 year career, interrupted by his service as an Officer
in the Canadian Signals Special Wireless Unit from 1941-1945
Paul Harris Fellow Charter member, Past President and Honorary
member of the Rotary Club of Toronto Eglinton and Paul Harris
Fellow ~Honorary member of the Rotary Club of Gravenhurst. He
often said that Rotary gave more to him over his 53 year membership
than he gave to Rotary. Golf, curling and sailing were his passions
along with cottage life at Skelton Lake and Lake Joseph where
fishing for that lunker of a lake trout was a perpetual challenge.
The family wishes to thank the Reverend Peter
SIMMONS, Reverend Tom
CUNNINGHAM,
Dr. Kent PHILLIPS, The Pines, and South Muskoka Memorial Hospital.
A service to celebrate Don's life will be held on Wednesday,
February 23, 2005 at St. James Anglican Church in Gravenhurst
at 11 a.m. Reception to follow at Gravenhurst Seniors Centre.
In lieu of flowers, donations to St. James Anglican Church, Gravenhurst
P1P 1H6, Church of the Redeemer Rectory Fund, Rosseau P0C 1J0
or to a charity of your choice would be appreciated. Arrangements
entrusted to the W.J. Cavill Funeral Home, Gravenhurst (705-687-3242).
