at Saint John's York Mills Anglican Church, 19 Don Ridge Drive,

Ontario. She is survived by four sons and their wives -- Peter

LENZ, by twelve grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, and
by her sister Betty

in Toronto to Arthur

the sixth of their nine children. She grew up in Saint Thomas,
and was educated there and at the Hamilton General Hospital School
of Nursing. She married Dr. E. Gregg
MacLOGHLIN and had one son,
Peter, before Gregg was killed in action in Italy. Ruth subsequently
married Charles
LENZ and had three sons, Charlie, Fred and Dave.
Ruth was active as a volunteer at the Royal Botanical Gardens,
the Hamilton Psychiatric Hospital and
at Grace Anglican Church
in Waterdown. A Service of Thanksgiving will be held in Grace
Church at 4 p.m. on Thursday, August 25, 2005 followed by interment
at the Hamilton Cemetery. A reception will be held afterwards.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Royal Botanical Gardens
in her memory would be appreciated by the family. Ruth's family
wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the staff at Empress
Gardens, Peterborough for the exemplary care they provided for
Ruth since she moved there in 2000.

for Chatham-Kent, the Chatham-Kent Integrated Children's Services,
the Kent County Separate School Board, and was a long time member
of the Chatham Granite Club. She will be missed by many loving
Friends in Chatham and Toronto. The family would appreciate that

Died on Monday, July 18, 2005, in Capitola, California. She lived
to the ripe old age of 83. She had been diagnosed with pancreatic
cancer in April and was receiving care and counseling by the
Hospice Caring Project of Santa Cruz during her stay at Pacific
Coast Manor in Capitola. Phyllis was born on October 9, 1921
in Norval, Ontario, Canada. Her parents were John and Edith
RANKINE
of Ontario. As a young adult she lived in Toronto, Ontario, where
she attended and graduated from Business School, got married
and had her family. In 1955 she moved to Vancouver, British Columbia,
with her husband and three children. In 1960 the family moved
to Santa Clara, California, where she worked as a secretary for
the Boy Scouts of America. Later she worked at Stanford University
in the Graduate School of Business. Eventually she became the
office manager for the Trane Corporation in Sunnyvale for more
than 20 years where she retired in 1984 at the age of 62. Phyllis
had three brothers and one sister, Jack, Charlie, Doug and Hilda.
Her parents and siblings predeceased her. Many loving family
members in Canada survive her. In the California area her three
children and their families, Paul and Janyce

for her affectionate and warm heart, her ability to have fun
and her extreme loyalty to family. A service is planned on August
7 at Cedar Lawn in Fremont, California, according to her wishes,
where she will be laid to rest next to her husband, Robert Mackenzie
LINGLEY. A celebration of her life will be held at her daughter's
