Howie"
Peacefully, after a brief illness, went home to be with his Lord
and Friend Jesus Christ, on Sunday, March 20, 2005, at the age
of 76. Howard was born in Craighurst, Ontario in 1929. He moved
to Toronto in 1943 and from there to Elmira in 1994. Beloved
husband of Ena (née
NEILL,) loving father of JoAnne (David)
FRIES
of Greenville, Wisconsin, and Neil (Yvonne)
OSTRANDER of Elmira,
and cherished grandfather of Brian, Jonathan, Michael, Brett,
and Jennifer. Howard will also be remembered by his sister Kathleen
(John) ROSS.
Howard was predeceased by his parents Harvey and
Annie OSTRANDER, sister Irene
CONNELLY, and brother Ray
OSTRANDER.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Howard with his
family during visitation at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home,
171 King Street South, Waterloo on Tuesday, March 22, 2005 from
1-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A celebration of Howard's life and faith
will be held at Waterloo Mennonite Brethren Church, 245 Lexington
Road, Waterloo, on Wednesday, March 23 at 2: 00 p.m., with Pastor
Paul McLLWRAITH officiating. A reception will follow in the lower
auditorium of the church. Cremation and private interment will
follow at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations
can be made in Howard's memory to International Teams of Canada
and may be arranged by calling the Edward R. Good Funeral Home.
