She will live in our hearts forever. It is with great sadness
that we have to say goodbye to our mother, mother-in-law, grandmother,
great-grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, Josie
GREENIS.
The
Lord took her to Heaven in order to relieve her
pain and suffering after bravely battling Alzheimers. Our mother
passed away on Tuesday, January 18th, 2005 at the age of 87 in
her home at The Westmount in Kitchener, Ontario. Josie was born
on December 8th, 1917 in Sarnia, Ontario, made her home in London,
Ontario where she raised her family and spent her last few years
in Kitchener. Predeceased by husband Max, sisters, Nina and Gloria
and parents Guy and Lily

Libby McHUGH was born on February 14, 2005 at the St. Joseph's
Health Centre, London. She arrived with bright eyes, spikey blond
hair and chubby cheeks. She fought bravely to stay with us. Libby

On Sunday, August 7, 2005 after a short illness, at home, surrounded
by his loving family. A beloved husband, adored father and treasured
friend, Bill was an extraordinary gentleman of great generosity,
wit and charm. A lifelong journalist, he began his distinguished
career with a summer job on the Kitchener Waterloo Record, then
went on to work for Canadian Press in Toronto, Vancouver and
New York, where he covered the United Nations. In the 1950's
he left New York for Reuters in London, England where he spent
several years on the North American Desk.
In 1960, Bill returned to Canada and began his long career at
Canadian Broadcasting Corporation Television, serving as executive
producer of news specials with foreign assignments that sent
him to Vietnam, Russia, Europe and South Africa. Over the years
he executive produced a variety of documentaries and current
affairs programming including Ombudsman and Marketplace. His
last assignment was Canadian Broadcasting Corporation's The Journal,
where he had the great pleasure of working with an outstanding
group of Canadian journalists.
Bill will be deeply missed by his dear brother Capt. John
HARCOURT,
his sister-in-law Joan, an extended family of nieces and nephews
and many cherished life long Friends.

Sarnia. Bill was a keen lawn bowler in Campbellford and Sarnia.
A Memorial Celebration of Bill's life will be held at 1 p.m.
on Saturday, April 23 at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, 143

NANCE of Calgary, passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2005, at
the age of 77 years. Bill was born in Toronto, Ontario and became
an accomplished figure skater, where he met his future wife at
the Toronto Skating Club. They became Canadian Figure Skating
Dance Champions in 1954 and 1955. With a lifelong interest in
figure skating, Bill became a World Level Figure Skating Judge.
He had a forty year career as a lawyer ending with six years
as the Public Trustee of Alberta. Bill was also a published author
and an avid gardener. Besides his loving wife of fifty years,
Bev, Bill is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Doug and
Joy DE NANCE and his daughter Sara DE
NANCE, all of Calgary.
"Grump" will be fondly remembered by his two grandchildren, Jay
and Danielle. He is also survived by his nephew Greg (Holly)
McHUGH of Toronto. Bill was predeceased by his sister Evelyn
McHUGH.
