McEVOY, Kathleen Helen
Kathleen Helen McEVOY a resident of Wallaceburg passed away peacefully at the Sydenham Campus on Monday, January 10, 2005 at the age of 88. Prior to retirement, Kathleen was a decorator with Libbey GLASS. Beloved wife of the late Daniel J. McEVOY. Loving daughter of the late Alfred George and Evelyn Clarinda (CARROTHERS) NOTTLEY. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Myrtle Jeanne FLEET, Byron Clifford & Patricia NOTTLEY and the late Freeda URUSKI and Reta Evelyn TROJAND. Kathleen will be missed by her 17 nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Haycock-Cavanagh Funeral Home, 409 Nelson Street (at Elgin) in Wallaceburg from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. on Saturday, January 15, 2005. The celebration of Kathleen's life will commence at 1 p.m. The interment will be in Riverview Cemetery. If desired, remembrances to the Canadian Cancer Society may be left at the funeral home. DOWNER, Bruce Norman
(Veteran R.C.R. - World War 2, Member Royal Canadian Legion Branch 3, Retiree of Canadian Arsenal). Peacefully, on Thursday, August 19, 2005, at Sunnybrook Health Science Centre, in his 84th year. Beloved husband for 64 years to Kay. Dearly loved father of Penny DOWNER, and Christine and her husband Michael McEVOY. Loving Bumpa of Carly and her husband Ronald, Charles, Lisa, Andrew and Alana. Dear brother of Harold DOWNER, Lenore SYMES, Ted and Fran DOWNER, Barb ADAM/ADAMS, Bev and Bud DUGUID and Joan DOWNER. Bruce will be missed by his dog Herman and fellow dog walkers and neighbours. He will always be remembered by his Friends at Three Mile Lake. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the G.H. Hogle Funeral Home, 63 Mimico Ave., Etobicoke. McEVOY, William Terry
Passed away peacefully, at home, with his family by his side, on Wednesday, September 7, 2005, at the age of 62. Terry, beloved husband of Irene. Dear father of Dustin and Christopher. Cherished son to Ethel, and dear brother of Lorne and wife Bianca. Loved uncle of Wendy and Taylor. Terry will be greatly missed by his family, band members, teaching colleagues and many close Friends. A special thanks to the caring staff at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital and Princess Margaret Hospital. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 109 Reynolds Street, Oakville, 905-844-3221, on Friday, September 9, 2005 from 7-9 p.m. and Saturday from 10-11 a.m. A Celebration of Terry's life will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Chapel. Interment to follow at Trafalgar Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Aplastic Anemia Association would be appreciated. Of Lansdowne Ave. Visitation 5-9 p.m. today at the Ryan and Odette Funeral Home, 1498 Dundas St. W., at Dufferin, Toronto. Chapel Service 10 a.m. Friday then to Beechwood Cemetery. Mrs. McEVOY who died at home, is survived by daughter Holly McEVOY; son Scotty NICHOLSON. Parking is no problem - simply enter from Dufferin, just north of Dundas.
