WOTHERSPOON, M.D. "Shane"
On her favourite day of the year, December 24th, surrounded by her family, Shane left us peacefully after a short battle with lung cancer. The family was blessed to have shared the last few weeks with her, laughing and celebrating her life. Shane is lovingly remembered by her daughter Shauna, son Drew and daughter-in-law Carrie, and will be sadly missed by her brothers Richard V (Kitty), Michael VII (Shelagh), and Douglas IX, and her many nephews and nieces; Douglas (Susan), Richard (Bindu), Gordon, Sarah, Tim, David, Scott, Kipp and Courtney. "Great" Aunt Shane will also be fondly remembered by Katie, Jack, Paige, Hannah and Kiran. She was predeceased by her beloved Magic and leaves behind dear Sassy. The family will be delighted to visit with you between 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, December 28th at Humphrey Funeral Home, A.W. Miles Chapel, 1403 Bayview Avenue. The funeral will be held 11 a.m. on Friday, December 30th at Christ Church Deer Park, on the west side of Yonge Street, just north of St. Clair Avenue. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Mental Health Association (8 King Street East, Toronto, Ontario M5C 1B5) or Christ Church Deer Park (1570 Yonge St. Toronto, Ontario M4T 1Z8) would be appreciated.

McKENNA, Joan Margaret
Passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 2, 2005, in Toronto at Versa Care Centre, in her 79th year. Predeceased by her mother "Bessie", father "Mac" and brother David. Dear sister to Mary (John) WOTHERSPOON of Oakville, and Sheilagh (Frank) O'CONNOR of Toronto. Aunt Joanie will be missed by her many nieces and nephews and by her many Friends at the St. Lawrence and Harbour Front Markets. Joan was an original. She was a kind and memorable person. Thanks to the caring staff at Versa Care; they made her final days as comfortable as possible. A Remembrance Service will be held at the Trull "North Toronto" Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 2704 Yonge St. (5 blocks south of Lawrence) at 4: 00 p.m. Thursday, April 7, 2005.

Suddenly surrounded by family on Monday, February 21, 2005, Wilhelm (Bill,) beloved husband of Renate (née WOTSCHKE) LERCH, in his 78th year. Proud and cherished father of Birgitta GUY- HAZEL and her husband Jim HAZEL of Kentville, Nova Scotia and Norbert and his wife Anna LERCH of London. Cherished Opa of Willi, Luise, and Erin Guy of Kentville, Nova Scotia and Matthew, Benjamin and Emily LERCH of London. Dear brother of Hilda BRUCKER (Adolph) and Mina BAUER (Adolph) all of Akron, Ohio. Also survived by 3 sisters-in-law in Germany and several nieces and nephews in the U.S.A. and Germany. Predeceased by his parents Theodor (1966) and Eugenia (1955) LERCH and his 3 sisters and 5 brothers. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock. Funeral Mass at Saint Martin of Tours Church, 46 Cathcart Street, on Saturday morning at 11 o'clock. Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery. Prayers Friday evening at 7: 30 o'clock. Donations to the Kidney Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
