Peacefully, after a lengthy illness, on Monday, May 2nd, 2005, Morley Kenneth MADDOCK of London in his 69th year. Husband of 48 years to Louise (WERDEN) MADDOCK. Dear father of Linda and Tim DICKSON/DIXON of Oakville, Heather and Chris DAWDY of London, Jennifer and Mike REID of Courtice. Dear brother of Sharon SHEPPERD of London. Loving grandfather of Carson, Cody, Jacob, Rebecca, and Tyler. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2: 00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. at the Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, (2 blocks North of Oxford), where the funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, May 5th, 2005 at 11 a.m. Reverend Philip NEWMAN officiating. Passed away peacefully at St. Michael's Hospital, March 18, 2005. Nick was born in Manitoba, February 19, 1920, son of the late Sam and Paraska ELCHYSHYN. Predeceased by brothers Fred (1983,) John (1991) and George (1994) and sisters Pauline WERHUN (1988,) Mary FOSTER (1994,) Pearl JAMIESON (1995) and Annie ROZAK (1996.) Survived by his sister Catherine TORBIAK of Winnipeg and brother-in-law Bruce FOSTER of Essex, and many nieces and nephews. In accordance with his wishes, there was no visitation. Following cremation, Nick's remains will be interred at Pine Hills Cemetery on Monday, March 28 with a committal service at 11 a.m. Our special thanks to the many staff of St. Michael's for their care and to Jim JAMIESON for his support of Nick in his later years.

Went to be with his Lord and Saviour, at the Brantford General Hospital on Wednesday, April 20, 2005, Petrus (Peter) HOGEVEEN, in his 78th year. Beloved husband for 50 years of the late Tillie (née BOONSTRA.) Loving father of Jerry and his wife Eunice, Rudy and his wife Diana, Toby and his wife Linda, Wilf and his wife Jennifer, Randy and his wife Louise, Peter Jr. and his wife Melody. Predeceased by a son, Timothy James, in 1992. Loving grandfather of Jessica, Jeremy, Esmé, Jaclyn, Emily, Rachel, Michael, Simone, Patrick, Rebecca, Charlotte and Zöe. Dear brother of Andy and his wife Pat, Ann and her husband Melvin WERKMAN, Sylvia and her husband Ted VISSER, Andy and his wife the late Dinie, Shirley and her husband Ibe BERGSMA, Frances and her husband George VANDERSLUIS, Sytske and her husband Homme WOLTHUIZEN, Toby and the late Sally, brother-in-law of Alice and John MANS. Predeceased by his parents Jerry and Sytske HOGEVEEN, brother Chuck, sister Grace and her husband Ron KOORNSTRA, and a brother-in-law Ted DOUWES. Peter was a devout man who lived his faith. He was an active member of the Full Gospel Businessmen's Association and enjoyed his new found hobby of golf. (Retired employee of Air Canada) Peacefully, at home on Thursday, May 5th, 2005, in her 69th year. Born in Eisenberg, Germany. Loving daughter of the late Margarete and the late August KOEGEL. Survived by her sister Amanda (Horst) and nephew Bernd WERLE, her brother Richard (Barbara) and niece Melanie KOEGEL, her brother Herman KOEGEL of Germany. She will be sadly missed by all her relatives and Friends abroad. Her many, many Friends in Canada will miss her loving kindness, her generous spirit, her laughter and beautiful smile. A Memorial Service in celebration of Katharina's life will be held by her family and Friends at the Turner and Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W., at Windermere, east of Jane St. on June 25th, 2005 at 3 p.m. For those who wish, memorial donations made to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.

McGILL, Andrew Fredrick
Andrew Fredrick of Saint Thomas, on Sunday, March 6, 2005, at St. Thomas, in his 77th year. Andy was born in Westminster Township on May 17, 1928, the son of the late Duncan and Mabel BEGG) McGILL. Dear brother of the late Murray, Donald and Duncan McGILL. Andy dedicated 43 years to the elevator industry and he will be sadly missed by his Brothers in Local 90 of the International Union of Elevator Contractors. He was a man of integrity and total unselfishness and was loved by his Friends, co-pilot Leada, Randy WERNER, Jim and Velvette SANFORD and families and Chris, Janet and the gang at the Midtown. A private service was held at Andy's request with his ashes to be interred in South Park Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to the charity of choice. Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin Street, Saint Thomas in charge of arrangements. A tree will be planted in Pinafore Park as a living memorial to Andy.

He will be greatly missed by his son Ron and his wife Judy and by his grandchildren Drew and his wife Jennifer, Scott and his wife Ruth, and Sara and her partner Chad JOHNSON. Also missed by his special extended family members, Bill and Masako IWAMOTO, Yoshie YAMASHITA, Janet and Ron WERNER, Nancy YAMASHITA, Ken, Colette and Kevin YAMASHITA, and Jerry, Denise, Colleen, Wendy and Alexander YAMASHITA. He will be remembered for his inquiring mind, gentle character, and devoted care to his wife. Photography was a great passion, and we will be reminded by his many photos of the role he played in our lives.
