With family at his side and after a short illness, Dr. Ronnie died on Wednesday February 2nd, not long after the death of his wife Dr. Veronica. Ronnie was a vital, vibrant, creative, intelligent, witty and talented man with his own sense of direction. Sailor, musician, cyclist, skier and in his youth in Scotland, an avid climber, his sense of adventure and insatiable curiosity enriched his life and the lives of those around him. His 45-year medical career began in the United Kingdom, moved to Canada where he practiced in Pembroke and Ottawa until his retirement in 1988. Children Fiona GILFILLAN (John WEMEKAMP,) Ronald GILFILLAN and Minnie GERMAN (Andrew) invite all Friends and colleagues to celebrate the lives of the "Two Ronnies" at the National Arts Centre, on Friday February 18th, 2005, 5-8 pm. Reminiscence will take place at 6 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Ottawa Hospital or the Juvenile Diabetes Association would be appreciated.

-In loving memory of our dear grandmother, Josephine, who left us three years ago on March 1, 2002.
Not a day goes by that we do not think of you.
Sharing happy stories, smiling, and laughing
Every day there are small things that remind us of you
We miss you more each day,
Somehow, life does not seem the same,
Since you have gone away.
Our hearts still ache with sadness,
Our eyes shed many a tear,
God only knows we miss you,
As this ends another year.
All our love, Shelley, Gus, Jordan, Eric, Collin and Brianna.
