SCHUMACHER, Adelheid "Heidi" Francesca (BAIER)
Heidi passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family, at the Grey Bruce Health Services, Owen Sound, on Wednesday, August 17th, 2005 in her 75th year. The former Heidi BAIER was the beloved wife for over 50 years to Kurt SCHUMACHER. She was the much loved mother of Liz SCHUMACHER and Joe SCHUMACHER. Loving "Oma" of Krista and Jessie MacVICAR. Also survived by her niece and nephews. Predeceased by a sister, Traudl WEHLI. Friends are invited to call at the Currie Funeral Home for a time of sharing and remembrance, on Saturday, August 20th, 2005 from 11: 00 a.m. until service at 12 noon. If so desired, memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.

Her journey continues but not on this earth - her legacy lives on in us. It is with sadness we announce the passing of Thea KOESSEL (née MATEJ) on Sunday, April 3, 2005 at Roberta Place in Barrie. Thea, predeceased by Otto KOESSEL her husband of 55 years, was 88 years old. She will be missed by her children Michael and Susan WEHLING of Barrie, Judy and Walter DESROCHES of Barrie, Robert and Diane KOSSEL of Mississauga, as well as her grandchildren Corinne (Stephen), Steven, Suzette, Monique, Nicole, Max (Gail), Lonnie (Lindsay) and Kevin (Amanda). Missing her also will be her great-grandchildren Ryan, Kristofer, Eric, Loren, Max Jr., Aaren, Paige, Camryn, Leia and Jordan. It is not length of life, but depth of life. - Ralph Waldo Emerson Oma - pillar of love, laughter and patience - think of Oma and you'll remember her kindness, her smile and how she enjoyed every moment. Family and Friends whose lives she touched knew just how very special she was. Always the explorer she loved to travel, and enjoyed simple things - her "Kaffee und Kuchen", Kreuzworträtsel, knitting endlessly or just reading in the garden. A celebration of Thea's life will be held on Friday, April 15 at 11: 00 a.m. at Saint Mary's Church in Barrie, Ontario. Reception will follow at 292 Leacock Drive in Barrie. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation on Thea's behalf to the Alzheimer Society of Canada or a charity of your choice. Oma - we wish you peace - we love you.
