VYE (née
RISEBOROUGH,) of Wallaceburg passed away
at the age of 94 at the Sydenham Campus on Sunday, December 26,
2004. Edith was the youngest and only surviving of 8 children
born to George and Elizabeth
RISEBOROUGH of Blenhiem. Edith was
schooled in Blenheim, eventually graduating from nursing at the
Chatham General Hospital. Upon graduating, she did private duty,
worked as head Nurse at Detroit Sinai Hospital and then to Sydenham
District Hospital where she worked in medical surgical until
retirement in 1972. Edith was a member of the U.C.C. She was
predeceased by her husband Fred. Edith is survived by one daughter
Sandra MARTIN, four grandchildren: Brad, Blair, Brent and Andrea
and three great grandchildren: Samantha, Zachary and Katie. A
private family service will be held at the Haycock-Cavanagh Funeral
Home, 409 Nelson Street (at Elgin), in Wallaceburg. If desired,
remembrances to the Grenada Medical Clinic or the Sydenham Campus
may be left at the funeral home (519) 627-3231.
