Suddenly, but peacefully in her sleep at Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Friday, June 17, 2005. Isabel is predeceased by her husband W.D. (Bill) PERRY and her daughter Nancy. Beloved mother of Joan and her husband Don, Bill and his wife Tracey, Son-in-law Brian, and Frances and her husband Larry. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Braden, Courtney, Amy and her husband Victor, Richard, Lawrie, Jason and Tanya. Predeceased by her sister Janette BOWLBY. Family will receive Friends at Coutts Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 96 St. Andrew's St. Cambridge, (519) 621-1650 on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be conducted in the funeral home chapel on Friday, June 24, 2005 at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Cambridge Memorial Hospital "Medical Day Care."

Peacefully on Thursday, June 9, 2005 at Maple Manor Nursing Home, Tillsonburg, Marion Elsie HARVEY in her 93rd year. Cherished wife of the late David Beveridge HARVEY (1998.) Always cheerful and forward looking, she will be dearly missed by her son Ian and his wife Iris of Tillsonburg; sisters Winnifred ROWORTH and her late husband Maurice of Kitchener; Margaret ARMSTRONG and her late husband Jim of Burlington; Eleanor BROOM and her husband Walter of Hayward, California; Jack EDWARDS and his late wife Ruth of Toronto. She was adored by her two granddaughters Kristine VILELA and Tanya BOONE; great-grand_sons Domenic; Mikey; Brandon, and Cody, and will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Marion was born and lived in Toronto, retired to Orillia, and resided in Tillsonburg these last seven years. A Memorial Service for Marion will be held Saturday, June 18, 2005 at Saint John's Anglican Church, Tillsonburg at 3 p.m with Reverend Richard JONES officiating. Peacefully at North York General Hospital in his 92nd year. Mikelis, beloved husband of Morella. Father of Rita. Grandfather of Gunars and Ingrid. Great-grandfather of Viktoria, Erik, Nicholas and Phillip. Mr. VILKS was born in Latvia and was a veteran and prisoner of war during World War 2. He travelled the world working on Cargo Ships. He lived in England then came to Canada in 1959, and worked for many years for Ontario Hydro, retiring at 65 to enjoy his family and his favourite pastime of fishing. He will be greatly missed by family and Friends in Canada and Latvia. A service celebrating Mikelis' life will be held at St. Andrew's Latvian Lutheran Church (corner of Carleton and Jarvis) at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 22, 2005. Passed away peacefully on the morning of Sunday, November 20th, 2005 at Sunnybrook and Women's Health Sciences Centre, Toronto, in his 84th year. Roy will be greatly missed by his lovely and gracious wife Joan (née HILL) of 58 years and his six children, Martin McKENZIE (Colleen), Gaye VILLA (Enzo), Keith McKENZIE, Jane MUDDIMAN (Rob), Bruce McKENZIE (Francine) and Scott McKENZIE (Sue), of whom he was so proud. Granddad to Melani (Dino), Sean (predeceased), Danielle (Rob), Hannah, Brooke, Allison, Michael, Madison, John, Laura, David, Alexis, Paige, Faith Alice and Katelyn. Great-Granddad to Sonya, Devon, Nicholas and Eva. Special uncle to Bruce (Pat), Penny (Arthur) and Susan (Jim). Predeceased by his siblings Earl, Beatrice and Florence. A great friend to many. Roy was a long time member of Royal Canadian Legion Branch 66, after service in the Royal Canadian Naval Volunteer Reserve during World War 2. Halifax, died peacefully on Friday, April 8, 2005 following a long courageous battle with cancer, 3 days after his 69th birthday.
Fred was the loving husband and best friend of Natalie, much loved father of Cathy (Greg) BRANTON, Mark and Julie (Rob) GREENAWAY, cherished grandfather of Sarah and Jason BRANTON, Michael, Gordon, and Kathleen McKEON, Quin and Joshua GREENAWAY. "Favorite" brother of Bette, Louis (Mary), Jim (Renalta), Sister Patricia, Jill, Jack (Rickie), and Barry (Mary). Well-loved uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Thanks to special Friends Linda and Nick VILLANI for their tender care and loving support during Fred's final days. Many thanks to Dr. Paul McINTYRE, Ruby MacDONALD, and the wonderfully caring staff on the Palliative Care Unit 7A at the Victoria General Hospital.
Fred greatly appreciated the loving attention and support of all his family and Friends throughout the course of his illness.
Fred's favorite passions were, first and foremost, playing with his grandchildren, and enjoying golf, squash, and bridge games. He will be sadly missed for his joie de vivre, positive attitude and limitless energy.
Friends will be received on Monday, April 11 from 6-8 p.m. at Cruikshank's Halifax Funeral Home, 2032 Robie Street. Age 64, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 18th, 2005 at Humber River Memorial Hospital Church Site. He worked at Olympia Tile for eighteen years and at Rothman's for over twenty years. Born in Toronto he was the son of the late Jeannette (HOULE) SMITH. He was married to Kilda Marie (MacDONALD) for 41 years and they have three beautiful children: daughter Barbara ROGERS (Don) and Angela BARUDI (Dan,) and son Paul (Mariline.) He has seven grandchildren whom he loved dearly: Brandon, Andrew, Mia, and Michael ROGERS, Ashley SMITH, and Nicholas and Samantha BARUDI. He is survived by two sisters Margaret PIQUETTE (Urbain) and Jeannette VILLENEUVE (Conrad - deceased,) and one brother Hugh (Donna). He also has many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sisters Blanche SMITH and Florence PELLERIN. Bill will be loved and missed by all of his family and Friends and will be remembered in our hearts as a man of strength and courage and as an inspiration to us all. Peacefully, at home, and after a lengthy battle with multiple health issues, passed away early Saturday morning, October 29, 2005, at the age of 78. Survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Violet. Loving father to daughters Dianne and husband Dave STRIBLING Peggy and husband Glenn McLAREN- VILLENEUVE; and son William VILLENEUVE Jr. Loving grandfather to David, Marnie and husband Scott, Jody, Derek and Ryan, Jennie and husband Rob, Krista and husband Dave, and great-granddaughter MacKenzie. His passions were his family, his faithful dog Chelsea and his love of camping. He will be dearly missed and forever remembered. Len died at his home in Tottenham on December 26th, 2005 with his wife, Mary, and his cat, Boots, at his side. Born on June 17th, 1916 in Frampton (Beauce), Québec, Len was the loving husband of Marie (THOMPSON/THOMSON/TOMPSON/TOMSON) for 48 years until her death in 1988. He is survived by their 3 children: Margaret (Bob), Lionel (Trina), and Tom (Susan) as well as 3 grandchildren: Jeffrey (Susannah), Derek (Lisa), and Jill (Carl), and 5 great-grandchildren: Elisha, Kaitlyn, Daniel, Maxwell, and Spencer. For the past 16 years Len has been the devoted husband of Mary (Ingoldsby THOMPSON/THOMSON/TOMPSON/TOMSON.) Len is also survived by his sister, Madeleine ROYER, in Quebec. Also mourning the loss of this good man are the 9 children from the Thompson family: Evelyn (Jack), Michael, Teresa (Vince), Mary Louise (Bill), Frances (David), Bernadette (Don), Rosemary (Germain), Matthew, and Patrick (Gillian) as well as 15 grandchildren: Bill (Melissa), Christine (Shawn), Karyn, Carmen, Greg, Lauren, Nigel, Rodney, Wesley, Amanda, Gilbert, Marysa, Jocelyne, Victor, and Clare, and 4 great-grandchildren. Went to be with her Lord at the Highland Wood on Wednesday, May 4, 2005, in her 87th year. Predeceased by her husband Harold, her parents Myrtle and Lew PRITCHARD and granddaughter Teresa. Dear mother of Marlene (Ken) VILLIGER of Calgary, and Brian (Dorothy) BLACK of Haliburton. Loving grandmother of Katherine LAZIER of California, Jeff (Christina) BLACK of Minden, and Andrea (Jim) CHURKO of Haliburton, proud great-grandmother of Nicole and Noah BLACK, Abraham and Sydney CHURKO. Olga spent her childhood in Minden, West Guilford and Eagle Lake. As a young woman she operated her father's Eagle Lake Store where she was also the postmistress. Later she and Harold purchased that business then sold it and bought into Darlack Department Store, later to become Black's Hardware. Olga was very involved in the Eagle Lake Community Church and the Haliburton United Church. She was a lifetime Member of the United Church Women (United Church Women) and the worthy Matron of the Eastern Star. Friends are invited to visit the family at the Gordon A. A veteran of World War 2, Mr. WARD served overseas with the Royal Canadian Engineers and was taken prisoner at Dieppe. He was retired from I.B.E.W. Local #530 with over 55 years of service and was a member of Saint John's Anglican Church. Cremation will take place with interment of ashes to follow at Lakeview Cemetery, Sarnia.
