At her residence on Friday, June 24, 2005. Edith (Ella) M. UTLEY (née MOYER) of Woodingford Lodge Woodstock and formerly of Eastwood and Kent Street Woodstock in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late Ray J. UTLEY (1981.) Dear mother of Lois WATTERS and her husband Ross of Princeton, Joan BRUBACHER of Southampton, Barbara SEYMOUR and her husband Al of London. Loved grandmother of seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Evelyn JACQUES of Woodstock and sister-in-law of Eileen MOYER of Woodstock. Predeceased by her brothers Charles, Norman, Chester and Robert MOYER, sons-in-law Edward YEOMAN and Cleason BRUBACHER, brother-in-law Joe JACQUES and by granddaughter Kathy WATTERS. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Ella was a longtime member of Saint John's Anglican Church (Eastwood) A.C.W. Friends may call at the R.D. UTMAN, Myron
Myron of Valleyview Home, Saint Thomas, on Sunday, January 9, 2005, at his late residence, in his 91st year. Myron was born in Cumberland, Wisconsin on May 3, 1910, the son of the late Frank and Agnes UTMAN. He was the dear uncle of Janet and her husband Daniel PETERS of Old Saybrook, Connecticut, Betty and her husband Keith BAKER of Dutton and Louis and his wife Joanne FIELD of Saint Thomas. Myron was a retired tobacco farmer and lived most of his life in this area. He was a member of Plains Baptist Church. Resting at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin Street, Saint Thomas where funeral service will be held Wednesday at 1: 00 p.m. Interment to follow in Union Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday from 12-1: 00 p.m. Remembrances may be made to the charity of choice.

At his home in Thorndale with his wife at his side. Donald A. CHARLTON passed away suddenly on Saturday, June 11, 2005 at the age of 71 years. Don was born in Springfield, Ontario June 11, 1934, the son of the late Stanley and Dorothy (UTMAN) CHARLTON. Loving husband of Eve. Father of Ken and Larry. Don owned and operated Charlton Kitchen Designs from his home showroom in Thorndale for 17 years and co-hosted Eve's Place Bed and Breakfast. A Family service will be held in Springfield Cemetery on Monday.

BENNETT, Sister Noreen (Sister Evelyn Marie)
It is with sadness The Sisters of St. Joseph of Sault Ste. Marie announce the death of Sister Noreen BENNETT (Sister Evelyn Marie) on Wednesday, September 7, 2005, in the Infirmary of St. Joseph's Motherhouse, North Bay, surrounded by her community. Born in Toronto, Sister Noreen graduated from the University of Toronto with a B.A. degree in 1937 and taught at St. Joseph's College prior to entering The Sisters of St. Joseph of Sault Ste. Marie in September, 1939. Sister Noreen's chief ministry throughout her community life was teaching. She taught at St. Joseph's College, North Bay, St. Patrick's High School, Thunder Bay and Mount St. Joseph College, Sault Ste. Marie where her festival choirs received top honours. Sister also attended the Ontario College of Education (O.C.E.) completing her Permanent H.S.A.; a Permanent Vocal Music Specialist; and a Permanent H.S.A., Type B Endorsed in Latin. Sister Noreen also attended the University of Ottawa where she received her M.Ed. Degree. Following retirement from teaching Sister Noreen continued her ministry in Sault Ste. Marie and Thunder Bay. She returned to St. Joseph's Motherhouse in 1990 taking up Archivist duties for the congregation until her health declined. Sister Noreen was predeceased by her parents, William Augustine BENNETT and Anne Marie Evelyn UTTENWEILER, brothers Joseph David BENNETT and Augustine Bernard BENNETT. She is survived by brothers William M. BENNETT, wife Dolena, Colin M. BENNETT, Rev. Christopher J. BENNETT, and John F. BENNETT, wife Marjorie sister Evelyn Marie BENNETT; sisters-in-law Mrs. Marie BENNETT and Mrs. Mary BENNETT, as well as many nieces and nephews. Sister Noreen will be remembered and celebrated as teacher, artist, archivist, photographer, musician, secretary and poet. The funeral liturgy for Sister Noreen, celebrated by Msgr. Dennis MURPHY, was held at 11: 00 a.m. on Friday, September 9, 2005 in the Sacred Heart Chapel of St. Joseph's Motherhouse, North Bay, Ontario. Burial followed at Saint Mary's Cemetery, North Bay. May Sister Noreen rest in peace.

It is with profound sadness that the family of Betty Jean COULSTRING (née WILLIAMS) announces her sudden passing on Thursday, March 17, 2005 at her residence in Woodstock in her 75th year. Beloved wife of the late Raymond COULSTRING (1990.) Cherished mother of Stephen and his wife Pamela COULSTRING of London and Linda and her husband Scott UTTING of Toronto. Much loved grandmother of Haley, Jordan, Alexandra and Alizabeth. Sincere thanks to Vianne and Evelyn CLIMO, Doris PEARSON, Tina HUITING and Dr. PARISER for their loving care and Friendship to her over the years. She will be sadly missed by many dear Friends and family. Dear mother of Mike and his wife Sharon, Gord and his wife Pat, Tom and his wife Anne, Pam SMITH and her husband Bruce and Dave all of Woodstock, Mary SHIER and her husband Mike of Belle River and George and his wife Shelley of Tillsonburg. Loved grandmother of twenty one grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Also survived by special friend Norm PALLISTER and dear friend Barbara WEIR. Predeceased by her son Bill (1998,) by her brother George VANCE and by her sister Mae BROTHERTON. Edna was a member of the C.W.A.C. and Knox Presbyterian Church, Woodstock. Bob Utting passed away peacefully at his home in Maitland, Ontario on Friday, March 18th, 2005 after a lengthy illness. Bob is survived by his loving wife of 60 years Joan (EVANS.) Beloved father of Holly MONTGOMERY (Alan) of Aylmer, Ontario, the late Douglas Robert, Heather STRONACH (James) of Ottawa and Timothy UTTING (Elinor) of Brockville. Dear grandfather of Carrie THEISSLER (David) of Barrie, Jeff MONTGOMERY (Krista) of London, Ontario, Andrew STRONACH (Julie) of Toronto, Matthew STRONACH of Etobicoke, Douglas and Sarah UTTING of Brockville. Cherished great-grandfather of Benjamin, Olivia, Chelsea, and Shawn. Bob is also survived by his sister Margaret OSBORNE and his sister-in-law Thelma UTTING, both of Niagara Falls, and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his father Herbert UTTING and his mother Florence (HADINGHAM) UTTING, his sister Helen ADAM/ADAMS and her two husbands Ernest LOW/LOWE/LOUGH and Sydney ADAM/ADAMS, his brother Bill UTTING, his sister Elizabeth (Bib) UTTING and his brother-in-law Edward OSBORNE. Bob grew up in Niagara Falls and graduated from Stamford Collegiate. After high school, Bob began his career with The Royal Bank of Canada in 1940 in Niagara Falls, a career which spanned five decades and culminated in his retirement as Vice Chairman of the bank in 1985. Bob and his family travelled extensively during his career, including stints in Hong Kong, New York, Nassau, Bahamas, and London, England. His career with the Royal Bank was interrupted only by his service from 1942 to 1946 as a Flying Officer with the Royal Air Force Ferry Command during World War Two. In 1985, Bob founded his own consulting company of which he was President until 1996. Bob was also a Director of several leading corporations in Canada and abroad including Cambridge Shopping Centres Limited, Prudential Assurance of Canada, The Philadelphia Fund, Eagle Growth Fund, Continental Can Company Inc, Munich Reinsurance, Tiedemann/ Goodnow International Capital Corp, MICC Investments Limited, Commodore Computers, Dominion Bridge, R.A. Utting and Associates Inc., and Managing Director of Roywest Banking Corporations Limited. Bob was also a former Chairman of the Board of Halco Shipping, Avcorp Industries, Optimal Robotics Corp, the Mortgage Insurance Company of Canada, Canadian General Insurance and Arbitrage Associates Ltd. We will remember his love of music, especially the operettas of Gilbert and Sullivan, his resounding laughter and tremendous sense of humour, especially for British comedy, his legendary ability as a captivating storyteller and his belief in the power of positive thinking. Above all, Bob will be remembered for his love of his family and pride in their accomplishments and for his tireless efforts and dedication to whatever cause he took on. Bob's family would like to thank Dr. Lydia LO and Dr. Mark NOSS for their diligent efforts on his behalf. We would also like to thank Bob's nurses; Cindy EDWARDS, Carole KELSEY, Rennie GEMMELL, Vivianna MORGAN, Carol BLAIRE, Tina DYKSTRA, Cyndy DENIS, Sandy ANDERSON, Darlene CARR, Joe HANNA, Eunice PATTEMORE, Nancy FARMER and the nurses of Bayshore Health Care and Saint Elizabeth Health Care for their unending kindness.

On Tuesday, December 6, 2005 at home two days after celebrating her 77th Birthday. Beloved wife of Lloyd S. and loving mother of Ron and Sharon, Darrel and Sharon. Lovingly remembered by son-in-law Eugene and daughter-in-law, Karen. Grandmother of Robyn (Maurits) DAGELINCKX, Ryan (Leanne) UTTLEY, Tonya and Jonathan MARTIN, Hillary and Evan SCHNIEDER/SNIDER/SNYDER and great-grandmother of Mikaela and Nathan DAGELINCKX and Benjamin UTTLEY. Daughter of the late Abner and Mary Ann GOOD. Survived by brother Willard (Joyce) GOOD and sister Margaret (Peter) METZGER and sister-in-law Polly GOOD. Also survived by sisters-in-law Florence WIDEMAN, Viola (George) WALLACE, Ellen (Carson) MOYER, Laura (Milo) SHANTZ and brother-in-law Abner (Shirley) MARTIN. Gladys will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews and their families. Predeceased by brother Howard GOOD and brother-in-law Aaron WIDEMAN and sister-in-law Almeda MARTIN. Gladys was active in her church, St. Jacobs Mennonite, past-president of the Women's Missionary Sewing Circle, taught Sunday School and served in many capacities. She also partnered with Lloyd in all their business ventures including farming, Martin's Tax Service and a recreation facility in Grand Bend. The family will receive Friends and relatives at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. At 9 a.m. on Friday, December 9th, transfer will be made to St. Jacobs Mennonite Church for funeral service at 11 a.m. with Pastor Mark Diller HARDER and Pastor Barb SMITH- MORRISON officiating followed by interment in St. Jacobs Mennonite Cemetery. In her memory, donations to Mennonite Central Committee or St. Mary's Hospital Cardiac Care Unit would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy.
