Mrs. Rosalie (MARTIN) STEFAN of Saint Thomas, wife of the late Jacob STEFAN (2002,) passed away at the Saint Thomas-Elgin General Hospital on Friday, June 3, 2005, in her 84th year. Mother of Mrs. Karoline TUNIKAITIS and her husband Algis of Saint Thomas. Grandmother of Mrs. Judy JACOLETTI and her husband Bill of Talbotville and Reverend David TUNIKAITIS and his wife Charlotte of Gravenhurst. Great grandmother of Dallas and Dane JACOLETTI, Rachelle and Joel TUNIKAITIS. Sister of the late Mrs. Helen LOESCHER. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Born in Yugoslavia, September 19, 1921, daughter of the late Henry and Kristina (Petri) MARTIN. Mrs. STEFAN came to Saint Thomas from Chicago, Illinois in 1980 and was a member of Faith Baptist Church. Friends will be received at the Sifton Funeral Home, 118 Wellington Street, Saint Thomas on Sunday afternoon from 2-5 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Monday at 11: 00 a.m. followed by interment in South Park Cemetery, Saint Thomas. It is with profound sadness and an unbearable sense of loss that I announce the death of my beloved Ken, 55 years young. Ken left us after an incredible fight with adrenal cancer that he fought valiantly for the last 4 months. He is survived by a caring family: Mom Elsie (FLETCHER,) sister Diane, brother-in-law Howard, Sherrie with child, Kevin, Ken and Nancy. Unc will never be forgotten. Polly his wife will cherish every special memory. Dan ARMSTRONG, his friend of 50 years, and his wife Shirley and their children Kelly and Joe will continue to share many wonderful memories of time spent with him. Sadly missed by his other gals, Rose and Radish. Polly and Ken would like to thank so many for their unwavering support. It meant so much. All our Friends at 55/65 Ellerslie, MacDonalds, and others. Born on the family farm in Dresden, Hazel worked at Zeller's for 25 years until her retirement. The funeral service will be held on Friday, March 25, 2005 at 1: 00 p.m. from Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia. Cremation will follow. Interment of ashes will be in the Dresden Cemetery at a later date. Friends will be received at the Smith Funeral Home, on Thursday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. and family visitation will be at 6: 00 p.m. The family wishes to thank Dr. GANNON and the staff of Sumac Lodge for the loving care they gave to Mom.
