TUMMONDS
and Kathy DE LA
FOSSE. He devoted his life to his 7 sons and
daughters, always giving much moral support in their chosen endeavors.
"Grampa Buck" will be especially missed by his 19 grandchildren.
Our sadness and grief is lessened somewhat by the memories that
come from having been part of the very special life of this very
special man.
Born on November 5, 1926, Buck grew up in the New Toronto area
of Etobicoke. In 1944 he volunteered for active duty in the Royal
Canadian Navy, where he served until 1947. After leaving the
navy he joined his father in a family business, Geo. Neal and son
and was a fixture on the Lakeshore in New Toronto for the next
39 years. Buck's passion, other than his family, was the Faustina
Hockey Club where for 40 years he coached, was an active member
and met many of his life long Friends. He will be remembered
by his many Friends and colleagues at the Lakeview Golf Club
in Mississauga where Buck worked and golfed, with wife Shirley,
almost daily for the past 19 years.
Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lakeshore
Blvd. W. between Islington and Kipling Aves., at 14th Street, 416-259-3705,
on Friday Nov 11th from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. A Memorial Service will
be held on Saturday Nov 12th at the Ridley Funeral Home, at 1
pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association
at onlinegift@diabetes.ca, or 1-800-226-8464. would be greatly
appreciated. Messages of Condolence may be placed at www. RidleyFuneralHome.com.
