JONES, Mary Whimster (née WILKINS)
Passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday morning, February 6th 2005 at Sheridan Villa Long Term Care Facility in Mississauga. Born November 6th 1915, she resided most of her life in Toronto. Predeceased by her husband, Dr. William Frank (Bill) JONES, her elder brother, Donald WILKINS, and her grand_son Andrew JONES she will be sadly missed by her 5 children: Dr. Donald JONES (Dr. Patricia McEWAN) of Toronto, Carol DEETH (Paul) of Oakville Margie DRINKWATER of Oakville, Heather JONES of Toronto and Bruce 'Spider' JONES (Fernanda MARTINS) of Murray Harbour, Prince Edward Island; and her 4 grandchildren; William and Brenda JONES, Peter and Ian DRINKWATER. She is survived by her brother Jaffray WILKINS of Perth, Ontario and sister Margaret CLARKSON of Seneca, South Carolina. She will be sadly missed by her dear friend Mona TUGBY of Hamilton. Mary was a longtime member of the Midland Golf Club, and the Ontario Genealogical Society. She loved to travel, play golf and enjoyed summers at the cottage at Thunder Beach near Penetanguishene. Friends may call at the Turner and Porter 'Peel' Chapel, 2180 Hurontario Street, Mississauga (Hwy. 10 North of Queen Elizabeth Way) from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral service will be held at St. Georges On-The-Hill Anglican Church, 4600 Dundas St. W., Islington on Wednesday, February 9, 2005 at 2 p.m. Interment St. George's Church Cemetery. Donations would be appreciated to the Alzheimer Society of Ontario. Further condolences or shared memories would be welcomed at spiderj@magma.ca.

CARSON, Joyce Elinor (née STORTTS)
It is with great sadness and love that the family announce the passing of this warm, kind, and spirited woman, who died peacefully at Belleville General Hospital on Monday, November 28th, 2005 in her 73rd year. "Joycie" unselfishly and generously gave to her family and Friends. Beloved wife and best friend of 49 years to John. Much loved mother and best friend to Donna and Bob BELLWOOD. Cherished nanny to Cassandra and Todd (Amy) BELLWOOD. Loving great-grandmother to Nickolas and Brandon. Dear sister-in-law of Shirley ADAMCYZK. Fondly missed by her fellow card players, Barb and John ALLISON and Doris and Tom TUGNETTE. Joyce will always be remembered by family and Friends for the delicious pies that she made, the jokes, limericks and stories that she told, and the special moments she created. Predeceased by mother Elizabeth STORTTS (1987,) father Doug STORTTS (1960,) brother Donald STORTTS (1983,) and great-granddaughter Hanna BELLWOOD (2001). Retired employee of Nortel (33+ years). Special thanks for the care provided by the nurses and doctors at Belleville General Hospital (5th floor) and K.G.H. (N.C.U.U.-Kidd 7). Private family service was held with interment at Belleville Cemetery. Honourary Pall Bearers were Cassandra, Todd, Amy, Nickolas and Brandon. If desired, donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Ontario in Joyce's memory. "Forever our Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Friend"

McCORMICK, Lillian Mary (née TUGWELL)
Early morning, August 25, 2005, God called one of his children home. Eighty-nine year old Lillian Mary McCORMICK, daughter of the late William and Amelia TUGWELL, passed away at the Rouge Valley Hospital, in the early hours of the morning. She is survived by daughter Carol BRADY and husband Bruce BRADY and son John McCORMICK and wife Lisa McCORMICK. Sister to Gladys McNALLY, dear friend of Nita NASH and loved by her twelve grandchidren and thirteen great-grandchildren. Family members are happy to know that she will finally be reunited with her late husband Alexander McCORMICK and late brother William TUGWELL. Friends will be received at the Sherrin Funeral Home, 873 Kingston Rd. (west of Victoria Park Ave.), Toronto (416-698-2861), on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, August 29, 2005 at Saint John's Roman Catholic Church (794 Kingston Rd.), at 11 o'clock. Interment Mount Hope Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
