Gertrude was born in London, England on December 13, 1908 and
came to Canada as a child. She worked as a clerk for the Township
of Yarmouth over 22 years, was an avid Violet Club Member, very
active in the Salvation Army and a life member. She taught Sunday
School, was a leader and director of "Singing Company" for 33
years, a pianist for 20 years, leader of the Songsters (Junior
Songsters) and participated in all aspects of the Salvation Army
and was also active with Christmas Care. Resting at Williams
Funeral Home, 45 Elgin Street, Saint Thomas where funeral service
will be held Thursday at 11: 00 a.m. Private interment in Elmdale
Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Remembrances
may be made to the Elgin Manor or the Salvation Army.

Born on the 20th day of
July 1938, son of the late Frances Marion and George William
VANNATTER in Bayham Township. He resided for many years in Port
Stanley and volunteered as a firefighter. Remarried in May of
2000 and resided in Saint Thomas for 3 years and then in Wallacetown
until his death. A Memorial service will be held at the Kingdom
Hall of the Jehovah's Witnesses: on Wednesday, November 30th,
2005 at 1: 30 p.m. Visitation at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin
Street, Saint Thomas on Tuesday evening from 7-9 p.m. Cremation
has taken place. Remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer
Society.

year, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 5, 2005 with her

at Dartmouth General Hospital surrounded with love by her family.
Marjorie was a survivor of the Halifax Explosion which claimed
