Passed away on Friday February 25, 2005, at Humber River Regional Hospital Church Site. Beloved husband of Pia. Dear son of Maria and the late Tomasso. Loving father of Renata and her husband Joe PIMPINELLA, Tom and Vera. Nonno to Robert, Stefanie, Ashly, Victoria and Melanie. Giuseppe will be dearly missed by his many brothers and sisters. Suddenly at his residence on Thursday, January 27, 2005. Robert James MANNING of Tillsonburg passed away in his 87th year. Mr. MANNING served in World War 2 (1941-45) with the First Special Service Force, known as the “Devil's Brigade”, an 1800 -- member of highly trained Canadian and American soldiers. Robert was the beloved son of the late Frank and Beulah (MANARY) MANNING. Loving husband of Isabella (SMITH) MANNING. Dear father of son James C. MANNING and wife Judy of Port Rowan, a daughter Marie MANNING of Tillsonburg, as well as the late Aubrey Wayne MANNING (1969,) survived by his daughter-in-law Beverly SULTON. Beloved grandfather of Mark TOTH, David and Laurie TOTH, Nicole TOTH, Tracy VEITCH and husband Jamie, Kim GADSON and husband Ken, Jamie MANNING and wife Denise, Heather LEVCHUK and husband Ted. Loving mother of John (Kat) TOTH of Tillsonburg, Dan (Leanne) TOTH of Calgary, Linda (Brad) ROBERTSON of Ancaster, Sandy (Dave) WILSON of Ingersoll, and Chris (Suzy) TOTH of Ingersoll. Dear grandmother of 10 grandchildren. Also survived by her brother Paul (Marlene) VAN WYNSBERGHE of Tillsonburg and Hank (Diane) VAN WYNSBERGHE of London. Predeceased by her parents Juluis and Maria VAN WYNSBERGHE. At Magda's request, there will be no funeral or visitation. Cremation has taken place. A brave and beautiful wife, mother and grandmother was taken from our loving arms on September 17th, 2005. Born in Greenock, Scotland she then moved to Rothesay, Isle of Bute, as a hairdresser. There she met the love of her life, Raymond (Love) and were married for 58 years. The family settled in Toronto in 1954. Mourning with their Dad are Margaret (Buddy NIGHTINGALE) and Ray (Cathie MAIDES,) grandchildren Matthew, Justin and B.J. Also deeply missed by Debbie (Shain) and kids and Caron (Dan). We are grateful for the care by Dr. M. GLINSKI- OOMEN, Lisa and Dr. J. TOTH and Marni. A special hug to Olga, Bill and Bev. We especially thank our new family at Sunrise of Aurora for their care, loving kindness and compassion. Angels do walk among us. Loving wife of the late Luigi SANTORO. Devoted mother of Michael and his wife Pamela, Marina, Matt and his wife Brenda, Joe and fiancee Leah. Daughter of the late Matteo and Frances TOTO. Dear sister of Rosa RINALDI and Pasquale TOTO. Predeceased by her brother Giuseppe TOTO. GUSELLE, Robert " Bob" Deighton Wilson
Born in Toronto the 14th of June, 1925 to Reginald and Millie GUSELLE, who had immigrated to Canada from England. Bob grew up in Arnprior, Ontario and enjoyed summers spent canoeing and camping with brothers Roger, Clifford and Brian in Algonquin Park. Dr. GUSELLE graduated from Queen's University Medical School in 1950 and interned at the Montreal General Hospital. He also completed post-graduate studies in medicine in London, England, at Hammersmith Hospital and Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital and worked with Dr. Sheila Sherlock, whom he called the "Liver Queen of England". In 1954, after finishing his studies, he returned to Canada where he dedicated the next 40 years of his life to his family medical practice at the Oshawa Clinic. He spent 28 of his 40 years there as Medical Director. During his tenure, the Clinic grew to the second largest private clinic partnership in Canada. Dr. GUSELLE will be remembered for his unfailing commitment to his patients, until his retirement at age 69. He was a caring, compassionate doctor, a rare breed, who gave everything he had to his patients. Not only did he make house calls, but would also take calls at home from patients who had a concern that just couldn't wait until the next day's office hours. In retirement, Dr. GUSELLE was able to spend more time focusing on his other passions: travel, gardening, World War history, the log retreat he spent many years restoring, and, of course, his family. Bob is lovingly remembered by his wife Kathy (TOTTEN) GUSELLE, children Pamela, Patricia, and Christopher GUSELLE, grand_sons Timothy and Andrew SCHJERNING, and Ry GUSELLE, sons-in-law, Pascal DENNIS, Eric SCHJERNING and daughter-in-law, Alexandra WALSH. He was predeceased by brothers Roger, Clifford and Brian GUSELLE. Cherished mother of Diane WALOFF (Gino TOTTI,) of Ottawa; Nancy FABIAN (Jeff) of Newmarket and Joanne ALGIE (John) of Ottawa. Loving grandmother of Katie GIBBONS (Ryan,) Paul and Alex FABIAN all of Newmarket and Iain and Malcolm ALGIE, both of Ottawa. Sister of Ed McAVOY of Hamilton, Margaret KERR of Vienna, Austria. Born and raised in Hamilton, May spent many years there, followed by retirement years, cottaging in Huntsville, wintering in Florida and finally 7 years under health care in Ottawa. May was a legal secretary for a number of years in Hamilton. From 1980 until retirement, she worked as a medical secretary in the Rehab Division of Chedoke Hospital, Hamilton. Throughout her life, May enjoyed socializing with many dear Friends in Hamilton and also at the Plantation Golf and Country Club in Venice, Florida. Near and dear to her heart, were the many happy outings with the "Kat Klub" ladies in Hamilton, ladies bridge groups in Hamilton, OxBow Lake and Venice, Florida, and the 9-hole ladies Golf Group in Florida. Always a strong lady who smiled and rarely complained in the face of adversity, she will be missed and remembered in our hearts. The family extends sincerest appreciation for the compassionate and dedicated care given by the wonderful staff at Forest Hill Nursing Home. Warm gratitude and thanks for their wonderful care and treatment are also extended to neurologist Dr. C.R. SKINNER, speech pathologist Sally LEES, and Physio-therapist Wendy SARSONS.

Bill is survived by his wife of 37 years, Gloria (SHERMAN) and daughter Kerrie at home. Dearly loved brother of Rose Marie BONNEY and husband Gene of Woodstock. Uncle Bill will be missed by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. Bill loved his hockey, fastball, guitar and country music jams. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and will be sadly missed by his young friend and fishing buddy Shawn WILSON of Salford. At her home on August 29, 2005. Born in Adelaide, South Australia, October 12, 1927. She married her late husband, Dr. James R. NORRIS in England 1951. They immigrated to Canada in 1952. Mary is survived and will be dearly missed by her son Jamie and by Mary's younger sister in Australia, Nan KEMPE (née TOTTON) as well as Nan's three children, Nick, John and Kate. Mary's warmth, kindness and sense of humour were matched equally by her beauty and elegance. Those who knew her would always speak of the joy and energy that she would bring to any endeavour. And while Mary was equally comfortable in a cocktail dress at a party or in a pair of coveralls and rubber boots feeding a sick calf late at night in the barn, Mary was always most proud of being able to help others. A woman, mother and wife with such gifts, energy and generosity is rare and will be missed by all who had the pleasure to meet and to know her. As per her wishes, her body was cremated. A service to celebrate her life will be held for family and Friends at St. James Cathedral, King and Church Street, on Thursday, September 22, at 11: 00 a.m. Flowers are gratefully declined.
