Passed away peacefully, after a lengthy illness, on Saturday, September 4th, 2005 at the age of 76 years. Beloved husband of Stella for 43 years. Peter will be sadly missed by his niece Olivia, nephews Thomas, Andrew and his wife Roxanne as well as by his brother and sister-in-law George and Marcela TISCHLER. Friends will be received at The Simple Alternative Funeral Centre, 275 Lesmill Road, Toronto 416-441-1580 on Friday, September 9 from 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, September 10, 2005 at 10: 30 a.m. Cremation to follow.

Judy was a volunteer for over 20 years with the Canadian Cancer Society and a member of the Coldwater Village Players. Leona (CARTER) MURPHY in Santa Rosa, California December 23rd, 2004 after a brave 23 year battle with Aids in her 71st year. Leona received tainted blood during heart surgery in California. Leona moved to Pacifica, California in 1964. Cherished wife of James MURPHY. Loved mother of Sharon POINTER (Steve), Rick (Kathy) all of California and Dennis (Janell) in Alaska. Dearly missed by her brothers Laverne (Joan) and Merv (Joan), and sister-in-law Pat TISDALE (Ken.) Predeceased by sister Helen SCARROW (2004) and brother Red CARTER (2003.) At his residence on Monday, March 28, 2005, Norman Clarke JONES of Chateau Gardens, Aylmer in his 93rd year. Beloved husband of the late Cecilia Helen (EVERITT) JONES (1969.) Dear father to Doris GRAHAM and husband Neil of Woodslee, Mary Helen JONES of Toronto, Stanley JONES and wife Karen of R.R.#2, Aylmer and Carl JONES and wife Linda of Tillsonburg. Dear brother-in-law to Inez JONES. Also survived by 10 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a sister Mabel KELLEY, brothers Ray, Leslie and Gordon JONES, a grand_son Jarrett JONES and great granddaughter Rachel MARSHALL. Born in Malahide Township on September 7, 1912, son of the late Sanford and Jennie (TISDALE) JONES. He lived most of his life at R.R.#2 Aylmer. Norman was a general farmer and a member of Calton Baptist Church. Friends may call at the H.A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Thursday 3-5 and 7-9pm where the funeral service will be held on Friday April 1, 2005 at 1: 00 p.m. Interment, Dunboyne Cemetery. Of Elliot Lake, formerly of Toronto, on September 7th, 2005 at the St. Joseph General Hospital Elliot Lake, in his 78th year. Beloved husband of the late Maggie TURNER. Father of Alan TURNER of Toronto, Bruce TURNER and his wife Lynda of Scarborough, and Craig TURNER and his wife Sherri of Ingersoll. Stepfather of Randy CALDWELL of Saint Thomas and Dawne BERGSTEINSON and husband Richard BERGSTEINSON of Toronto. Also survived by his sister Joyce TISDALE of London, and brother Leonard TURNER of London. Predeceased by his brother Thomas TURNER. Also survived by six grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. For many years Jim was involved in Barbershop singing and will be greatly missed by his many Friends. According to Jim's wishes there will be no funeral service. Cremation and a private burial will follow.

Departed this life on January 23, 2005, with her family by her side, at the age of 75, taken by an aggressive cancer. Cherished mother of Stephanie JENSEN, Derek SMITH and Scott SMITH; beloved mother-in-law to Cindy SMITH and Jocelyn SMITH; proud grandmother of James JENSEN and Kalyn SMITH; dear sister of Ruth TISDALL, Frank NUTSON and Dorothy REYNOLDS and the late Bill NUTSON, Marjorie HASTIE and Mary TROW. She is survived by her former husband Tony SMITH and many loving nieces and nephews. Terry was born October 3, 1929 in Sault Saint Marie, Ontario, grew up in Toronto and moved to San Francisco in her late twenties. She married Tony in San Francisco and they raised their family in Larkspur, California. She enjoyed tennis, golf and sewing and made many Friends in her communities due to her wonderful sense of humour and her young and fiery spirit. Terry was a lady who was easy to talk to as she was such a good listener and you knew she truly cared. She moved to Petaluma, California in the 1980's to be closer to her daughter Stephanie and was a dedicated supporter of her children and grandchildren. She was dearly loved and will be truly missed. A memorial service will be held on February 12 at 11: 00 a.m. at her Parish of St. James Catholic Church, 125 Sonoma Mt. Parkway, Petaluma, California with a "celebration of life" reception in her honour to follow at the Sheraton Hotel, 745 Baywood Drive, Petaluma. Flowers may be sent to the church or donations can be made to St. James Catholic Church or the American Cancer Society.

FISHER, Edward " Ted" Richard
Passed away at home on Sunday, February 6th, 2005, in his 89th year. Ted was the beloved husband of Donna THOMAS, and devoted, loving father to daughter, Alice FISHER, and son, Don FISHER, both of Vancouver; and will be dearly remembered by Don's partner, Jewel VOTH, and her son, Noah. Predeceased by wife, Marion FISHER, sister, Eileen, of Vancouver, and brother, Sydney, of New Zealand. Ted will be remembered fondly by sister-in-law, Isobel FISHER, his niece, Eileen FISHER, and nephew, Richard FISHER, as well as their children, all of New Zealand. Born in London, England, January 30th, 1917, Ted spent his formative years in Vancouver. Following the outbreak of World War 2, he volunteered for duty in the Canadian Army - Westminster Regiment, and saw extensive front-line service in Italy. At the conclusion of the war, he returned to Vancouver for a period, later relocating to Montreal to take a position with then Trans-Canada Airlines. In the early 1950s, Ted FISHER joined Pepsi-Cola Canada, where, during 30-years of service, he assumed a succession of management roles in advertising and marketing services, until his retirement in 1982. With an overriding passion for the game of golf, Ted has been a long-time, active member of the Islington Golf Club, in Toronto. His other special interests included jazz and theatre. Unassuming, and possessing an eternally optimistic spirit, inexhaustible energy, and generous nature, Ted FISHER was an example and inspiration to those who knew him - and one whose counsel and guidance was truly valued. The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Michael GITTERMAN, Dr. Steven TISHLER and the clinical care team of the Heart Function Clinic - Trillium Queensway Site. At the request of Ted, no memorial service will be conducted. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Nature Conservancy of Canada, P.O.
