Passed away suddenly in his sleep on Friday, September 23, 2005
to join his loving wife, Martina. Missed dearly by his daughter,
Susan and Steve. Proud granpa and "G-man" of Alissa and Adam.
Also remembered by Paul
McNAMARA, and beloved brother of Kalevi,
Roy and Vuokko. Special thanks to all his East End Taxi colleagues
with whom he worked for many years. Gerry will be remembered
for his profound love of the outdoors, sports, particularly hockey,
and sense of family. A true patriarch, a loyal friend, awesome
father and inspiring grandfather, he'll be missed by all those
whose lives he touched. Family and Friends will be received on
Tuesday, September 27, 2005 from 12-1 p.m. at The Simple Alternative
Funeral Centre, 275 Lesmill Road, Toronto (416-441-1580), with
Funeral Service to commence at 1 p.m. Interment to follow at
Highland Memory Gardens, Toronto.
