Suddenly, three days before his 72nd birthday, on Friday, May 6, 2005. Donald L. TIFFANY Sr. in his 72nd year. beloved husband of Jean (LOVELL) and dear father of Deborah and David (ROSE,) Donald Jr., Grace (Jacques,) Trevor and Ellen (NANCEKIVELL,) Jeffrey and Colleen (SOLTIS) and grandfather to Katelyn. Don was a retired businessman from the Saint Thomas area. Friends will be received at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Road (1 block east of Egerton) on Tuesday, May 10, from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday afternoon at 4 p.m. with Rev. Ed. BAKER officiating. Cremation at Woodland Cemetery. Donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family. Online condolences can be expressed at www.evansfh.ca. Cherished mother of William PLANT, of Burlington, Terry PLANT, of Toronto, Kim MEYER and her husband, Jim, of Burlington, Sheila PLANT and Lance PLANT, of Kitchener. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren, Sherry BURNE, Shannon TIFFIN, Jacqlyn LAMBERT, Jenny MEYER and great-grandchildren, Justine BYRNE, Kalem BYRNE- NOEL and Jordan McLEOD. Predeceased by his sister Marilla (Millie) HUFF and brother Bob. Bill is survived by sisters Betty TERRY (Bill), Shirley KOSKELA, Elaine TERECH, Margery COLBY (Hugh,) brothers Bill and Lorne ARNOLD (Ella,) a brother-in-law Doug HUFF, sister-in-law Lise ARNOLD and their families. Family and Friends will be received at the John C. Hilda Ilene WEES age 81 formerly of Chatham passed away peacefully at Livingston Lodge, Scarborough on Monday April 25, 2005. She was born in Dawn Township daughter of the late Ernest and Dora (SHAW) BABCOCK. Hilda is predeceased by her husband Sherman George WEES, her son Terry WEES on April 25, 2005, and her brother Wilson BABCOCK. Loving mother of Cindy and John STEEP of Toronto and Margaret WEES of Las Vegas, Nevada. Loved and sadly missed by her grandchildren Brent and Jackie WEES of Toronto, Todd and Janet WEES of Lake Tahoe, Nevada, Justin and Amy WEES of San Diego, California, Lindsay and Dan PICKERING of Embro, and Robyn HODGE of Toronto. A loving great grandmother to Eva WEES, Maggie WEES and Mason PICKERING. Sadly missed by her sisters-in-law Rita TIFFIN of Tupperville and Bessie BABCOCK of Wallaceburg. Hilda was an Associate member of the Canadian Legion Br. 628, Chatham and will be greatly missed by many wonderful Friends in the Chatham and Toronto areas. Terry Lee WEES age 58 formerly of Chatham and Toronto passed away suddenly at his home in Las Vegas, Nevada on Monday April 25, 2005. Beloved husband of Margaret (McEWEN) WEES, loving father of Brent and Jackie WEES of Toronto, Todd and Janet WEES of Lake Tahoe, Nevada, Justin and Amy WEES of San Diego, California, and step-son Kent and Leslie STEWARD/STEWART/STUART of Kingston. A loving grandfather to Eva WEES, Maggie WEES, and Dylan STEWARD/STEWART/STUART and a loving brother to Cindy and John STEEP of Toronto. An extra special uncle, who will be greatly missed by Lindsay and Dan PICKERING of Embro, and Robyn HODGE of Toronto. Terry is predeceased by his father Sherman George WEES, and his mother Hilda Ilene WEES on April 25, 2005. Although Terry's passing was unexpected, his love of life, Friends and family provided us all with a legacy that will live on in our hearts forever. On April 4, 2005, at the age of 80, at Sunnybrook Hospital. Beloved husband of Dinah, loving father and father-in-law of Roberta SOMLO and Bill TIFFIN, Danny and Nancy, devoted grandfather of Alexandra, Emma, Jeffrey, Brandon and Stephanie. A holocaust survivor, Erwin helped European Jews move through Europe, crossing dangerous borders to reach the future state of Israel. This work almost cost him his life. He was later interned in Cypress and eventually fought in 2 wars in Israel. A graveside burial on Wednesday, April 6 at 1: 30 p.m. at Pardes Shalom Cemetery.

Loving father of Mary Victoria and her husband Scott TIFFIN, and Anne and her husband John TAILOR/TAYLOR. Affectionate grandfather of Rachel, Claire, and Jane. Predeceased by his sister Margaret STRANG. Gilbert will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Very special thanks to Chito and the nursing staff on K Wing at Sunnybrook Hospital. Retired North York Firefighter. Passed away peacefully February 19, 2005 surrounded by the love of his family. Loving husband and best friend of 40 years to Bonnie. Father of Jonathan and his companion Brie, Scott and his companion Jenna. Forever in the hearts and memories of sister Sandra (Ian SCOTT,) brother Russell (Pat,) sister and brother-in-law, Linda and David WATTS, mother-in-law Margaret BALKWILL. Doug will be deeply missed by aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews, colleagues, numerous Friends especially Chris, Dr. P. and all of the "Deck Day Group". Doug joins his parents Audrey and Vic, aunts and uncles, father-in-law John, other firefighters, Friends and Terra. Doug will be remembered for his unconditional generosity, love, sharing of his home, time, volunteerism, passion, infectious good humour and potato salad by all those whose lives he touched. KNEESHAW, Amanda Ruth (née HODGSON)
Of Greenwood Court, Stratford, died peacefully at her residence on Friday, September 16, 2005, at the age of 101. She was born near Cookstown on January 27, 1904, the daughter of the late Watson HODGSON and the former Emily McKELVEY. She was the wife of the late Wilfred KNEESHAW who died in 1965. She is survived by daughters Noreen PETRO (George), Waterloo; Jean JACKSON (George), Thornhill; Margaret DINGMAN (Charles), Stratford; and Dr. Muriel KNEESHAW, New York; grandchildren David PETRO (Anita GATTI), Waterloo; Ronald PETRO (Isabel), Kitchener; Susan TIFFIN (Mark), Maple; Catharine MARTIN (Kenneth), Toronto; Janet JACKSON, Newmarket Barbara HERTZMAN (Norman), Toronto; Carolyn DINGMAN (Bradley BRAEKEVELT), Stratford; Robert DINGMAN (Jennifer McTAVISH), Kitchener Brian DINGMAN (Dawn,) Stratford; great-grandchildren Adam and Michael PETRO; Claire, Corinna and Luke PETRO; Andrew, Stephanie and Jacqueline TIFFIN; James, Sean and Nicola MARTIN; and Cameron DINGMAN. She was predeceased by brothers Matthew, Herbert (Bobbie,) Harold and her sister Glenna QUINN (Wilfrid.) Amanda was a graduate of Toronto Normal School and taught elementary school in the Bradford area and Thornhill for 10 years prior to her marriage in 1933. She and her husband farmed on Highway 11 north of Bradford until his death when she moved to Bradford where she served as assistant librarian at the Bradford Public Library. She and her husband were devoted to their family, their church and their community. She moved to Stratford in 1998.
