HOBBS, Howard Raymond
Suddenly at home on Monday, June 6, 2005. Howard Raymond HOBBS, in his 59th year. Husband of Marilyn (THWAITES.) Survived by his aunt Alice HOWARD, cousins Ray HOWARD and Ruth-Anne DEAN, brothers-in-law Larry (Lois) THWAITES and Terry (Lee) THWAITES and several nieces and nephews. Howard was a longtime employee of South Street Campus. Friends will be received at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd. (1 block east of Egerton) on Thursday, June 9, 2005, from 10: 30-11 a.m. Funeral Service will follow in the chapel at 11: 00 a.m. Interment in Woodland Cemetery. At London Health Sciences Centre, Victoria Hospital, on Friday, August 12, 2005, Edna May "Edie" (BLACK) BATTY of London, age 61 years. Beloved wife of Dave BATTY. Dear mother of Debbie FORWARD and her husband Paul, Anne ROWLES and her husband Rick, Mary CROSSEN, and Connie THWAITES and her husband Ken, all of London. Dear sister of Norman LAMB, Ken BLACK, Ruby VON GUNTEN and Betty ROBERTS. Predeceased by her brother Ralph BLACK. Also loved by her 13 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and many other family members. Friends will be received 2 hours prior to the funeral service being conducted in the chapel of A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London, on Wednesday, August 17th at 2: 30 p.m. Interment in Woodland Cemetery, London. Peacefully at Parkwood Hospital on Saturday, November 26, 2005, Mrs. Linda THWAITES of London in her 59th year. Beloved former wife of Nelson THWAITES Sr., and companion of Joe DOUCET. Loving mother of Nelson and Gregory of London. Dear grandmother of Nelson Jr., Kaylyn, Michael and Greggory. Also survived by sisters Diane STAMPLECOSKI, Joanne WALSH and Marie WILSON. Linda will be greatly missed by her many Friends. Friends and relatives called at the Lloyd R. HYDE, Michael William (October 12, 1959 to March 11, 2005)
Age 45.
On March 11, 2005 Michael passed away after fighting a long, strong and courageous battle with cancer. He is the dearly loved husband and best friend of Julia HYDE (née WATSON) and the most devoted and loved Dad of Geoffrey and Emily. Cherished son of Farrell and Marguerite HYDE, dear older brother to Murray and Barbara and her husband Stephen THWAITES. Loved son-in-law of Alan and Glenda WATSON and brother-in-law of Jane and Chris WATSON and his wife Natalie. Dear uncle to Stephen and Scott WATSON. Michael will be missed but very happily remembered by aunts, uncles, and cousins of the HYDE and Sutherland families, and his many, many, special Friends.

MacKAY, Martha " Connie" (née SMITH)
Longtime resident of Unionvilla, peacefully passed away at Markham Stouffville Hospital, on Thursday, June 30, 2005, in her 97th year, with her family by her side. Beloved wife of the late James Alexander MacKAY. Loving mother of Maureen CULP and Jim MacKAY (Judy.) Predeceased by her daughter Janette THWAITES and her granddaughter Tammy. Much loved grandmother to Laurie STEVENSON (Jim,) Michael CULP, Christopher CULP, Krista BEAUDRY (Kevin,) Timothy THWAITES, and Scott MacKAY. Loved by her great-grandchildren Danielle and Matthew STEVENSON, and Kyle and Madeleine BEAUDRY. Cherished by her family members from Parry Sound. We will always remember her determined spirit and feisty attitude towards life.
