Sadly, her family announces her passing at her new home at Maple
Bay, Duncan, on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, formerly
of Richmond Hill, Ontario. She arrived full of joy, expectation
and anticipation for quality time and gracious living to enjoy
her golf and to sail with her son-in-law, Erik. Jessie, born
in Toronto, Ontario, was predeceased by her parents Wilfred and
Alice LEWIS, several siblings and her daughter-in-law Claire
Kaeser WAINWRIGHT.
Left to remember her infectious sense of humour,
her ability to listen, her willingness to take a risk and her
enthusiasm for life are her husband of sixty-four years Louis
Thomas WAINWRIGHT; herdaughter Donna and her husband J. Erik
CAMPBELL-
SMITH who now live at Maple Bay and their sons Jon of
Canmore, Alberta and Jason and his wife Caroline of Braunsweig,
Germany; her son Dean who lives in Montreal and his three daughters
Erin, Allison and her husband Adam

Deven and Megan; her son Guy and his wife Johanne who live in

October 12, 2005 in the Cowichan Valley on Vancouver Island.

MacNEIL, 74 of Sydney Mines, Nova Scotia, passed
away suddenly on Wednesday, June 22, 2005 in his Ontario home.
He was born on June 16, 1931,
son of the late John and Irene
(MacDONALD)
MacNEIL. As a young man in the early 1950's, John
MacNEIL joined the Navy. During his Navy career he was a member
of the Canada Steamship Lines, travelling on the Great Lakes
as a seaman. His career continued as a crew member of the White
Star Line, and he served on the Olympic aircraft carrier known
as "The Magnificent". He proudly served two years on the H.M.C.S.
Haida during its second tour of duty in Korean waters and travelled
the world. Throughout the later years, close to retirement, he
enjoyed serving on the "Sam McBride" ferry boat for the City
of Toronto. During his retirement years he truly enjoyed the
life of leisure and kept busy creating woodworking masterpieces!
