YOUNG, passed away peacefully on Tuesday,
October 11, 2005 at her apartment at Fountains of Mission, in
Calgary, Alberta. Born 1919 in Saint John, New Brunswick, she
was the daughter of the late John F.H.
TEED and Mrs. Muriel
TEED
(WETMORE,) of Saint John. Also predeceased by her two oldest
children Margaret (David

and one sister Hazel

She will be sadly missed by her three
sons: Ian (Angela
ROMANY) of Ottawa, Ontario, Tom of Parsboro,
Nova Scotia, and Kenneth (Shirley
PASMORE) of Calgary, Alberta,
and daughter Nancy (Randy
HENDERSON) of Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Beth also leaves several nieces, nephews and cousins to mourn
her passing. Educated at Edgehill School for Girls in Nova Scotia,
she graduated from McGill University in 1940. Beth taught at
her alma mater in Nova Scotia for several terms before joining
the Royal Canadian Navy at their Naval Intelligence Headquarters
in Ottawa. Promoted to officer in the Wrens, she remained in
Ottawa until the end of the war. In 1946, she was invited to
join the International Air Transport Association's head Office
in Montreal, where she met her future husband, Laurence
YOUNG.
Married in November 1947, Beth and Laurence had a marriage full
of exciting travels, momentous events and interesting people.
The traditions that were so much a part of Beth's life are a
legacy carried on in the lives of her children and grandchildren.
Visitations in Calgary will be on Wednesday, October 12, from
3 to 6 p.m., at McInnis and Holloway Funeral Home, Park Memorial
Chapel, 5008 Elbow Drive S.W. Will later rest at Brenan's Select
Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, New Brunswick
with visitation on Friday, October 14 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and
7 to 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the Trinity Anglican
Church, Charlotte Street, Saint John, New Brunswick, on Saturday,
October 15, at 11am. Interment will follow at 1: 30 p.m., at Lower
Norton Anglican Church Cemetery, near Hampton, New Brunswick.
Remembrances may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.

School Boards, and following retirement volunteered for 31 years
at the London Health Sciences Centre - University Campus. Friends

Road North, on Friday from 2: 00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. The funeral
service will be held at Mount Zion United Church, 471 Ridgewood
Crescent, on Saturday, April 23rd, 2005 at 11: 00 a.m. Reverend Chris

founder and owner of Strathroy Glass Company for many years which
flourished under his guidance. Gord was a Past President and
life member of the Strathoca Shrine Club, Strathroy; involved
with Meals on Wheels for 10 years, and a longstanding member
of the United Church of Canada. He will be greatly missed by
all. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 2: 00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00
p.m. at the Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North,
(2 blocks north of Oxford), where the funeral service will be
conducted on Friday, January 28th, 2005 at 1: 30 p.m. with Rev.
