At the Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Wednesday, October 19, 2005, Alta B. (SMITH) WILLIAMS of Parkhill in her 93rd year, beloved wife of the late Charles WILLIAMS (1983.) Dear mother and mother-in-law of Sharon and Don DICKSON/DIXON of Parkhill, Russell CLARKE of Grand Bend, Shirley and Ken BUZZELL of Calgary, Ron and Sandra WILLIAMS of Saint Marys, Brian WILLIAMS of Parkhill. Sister-in-law of Bess SMITH of Watford, Cassie POORE of Thedford, Lyle (Tiny) WILLIAMS of Calgary, Bill WILLIAMS of Parkhill. Predeceased by sons Douglas WILLIAMS and Jack WILLIAMS, daughters Audrey CLARKE, Velda BAUMAN/BOWMAN and son-in-law Hugh BAUMAN/BOWMAN, daughter-in-law Shirley WILLIAMS, brother Bruce SMITH, sisters Agnes TEDBALL, Margaret THOMPSON/THOMSON/TOMPSON/TOMSON, Grace HAWKINS, Jean ELLIOT/ELLIOTT, Ruth AITKINS and Irene FRASER. Resting at the M. Box and son Funeral Home, 183 Broad Street, Parkhill, where the funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, October 22 at 1: 30 p.m. Visitation 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday. In his 100th year, peacefully at Vision Nursing Home, Sarnia, on December 11th, 2005, after a full and productive life. Loving father of Fred and Ron TEDBALL of Sarnia. Predeceased by parents Henry and Amelia TEDBALL and ten siblings. Wives, Agnes SMITH and Marian PARK. Sons, John Clayton TEDBALL and Robert Lorne TEDBALL. Survived by nieces Beryl CHAMBERS, Elda PATTERSON, Eleanor MATHERS, Betty GRANT, Marion DURHAM. Granddaughters, Debbie MEREDITH, Joanna TEDBALL and Leanne BOND. Grandsons, David and Rick TEDBALL, Anthony TEDBALL and many more great grand decedents. Born at Sylvan, Ontario in 1906, raised in Parkhill, Clayton worked in various trades including teamster in the grain harvest of southern Saskatchewan, meat cutter in Weston, Ontario and in Sarnia for Walker Brothers Stores until joining Imperial Oil Limited, Sarnia in 1928. During World War 2, Clayton was assigned to Polymer Corporation as an operators/supervisor to help build and start the first Butyl Rubber production plant. After the war he returned to Imperial Oil where he continued to work in supervision and farm in Sarnia township until his retirement after 38 years of service. He then went on to enjoy 40 years of retirement and will be sadly missed by his family and the loving and caring staff of Vision Nursing Home, who enjoyed listening to his music renditions on the harmonica. There will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held with his interment in Lakeview Cemetery. Passed away peacefully at the Plummer Hospital on October 9, 2005 surrounded by family in her 90th year. Loving mother of Norman VARLEY (Lynda.) Cherished Nana of Laura, Jonathan (Crystal) and Norman Jr. Special Great Nana of Haylie and Chelsey. Daughter of the late James and Frances TEDCASTLE. Sister of Grace and Margaret (Peggy) and predeceased by Frances, Gertrude and Bruce. Special friend to Margaret DOUGLAS/DOUGLASS and Rose SCHWARTZ of Toronto. There will be a cremation and at Dorothy's request a memorial service will be held in Holland Landing, Ontario in the spring of 2006. MALONEY, " Bill" William Francis (1938-2005)
After a three and a half year battle with cancer, Bill died on Saturday afternoon, June 11 on the Feast of St. Barnabas in his home, surrounded by his family and Friends. He will be dearly missed by wife Lisa MALONEY (née TEDESCO) and his children Cathy, David and Andrew. He is survived by his sisters Brigid (Bill) PRIESTNER, Pat (Gerry) McAVOY, sister-in-law Marion and his brothers Colum (Kay), Gerry (Nora), Conrad (Lynda), and Dan. He is predeceased by his parents Sarah and James, and brothers Jim and John. He will also be missed by The Tedesco family, many nieces, nephews and Friends. Friends may call at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding south of Steeles), on Tuesday, June 14 from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday at 10: 30 a.m. at Blessed Trinity Roman Catholic Church (3220 Bayview Avenue). Age 101 of Dresden passed away at the Copper Terrace Nursing Home, Chatham on Friday October 28, 2005. She was born in Chicago daughter of the late William and Margaret (TEDFORD) VARY. She taught school for many years in the Dresden area and was a Life Member of the Imperial Order of the Daughters of the Empire She was predeceased by her husband Andrew RIGSBY in 1962. Surviving is a daughter Margaret RIGSBY of Toronto; a niece Janet PUGH of Chatham Township; cousins Jeanne QUIGLEY and Betty CAMPBELL both of Chatham. Predeceased by one sister Jean VARY. Cremation at Resurrection Crematorium, Sarnia. Visitors will be received at the Thomas L.
