Mary is predeceased by her loving husband, Paul and by her children Helen and William. Beloved mother of Grace (Toronto), Shirley (Bruce Mines, Ontario) and Donald. Grandmother of Tracey (John), Shelayne (Scott), Beth (Les), and DeAnne (Andrew). Great-grandmother of Tyler, Dylan, Coleman, and Elizabeth Ann. Aunt of many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by siblings Anne, Rose, Olive, Mike, Bill and John. As a wife and grandmother, she was a source of strength and dignity to us all. Her concern and caring continued to her last breath. Her journey now is to join those who went before her, where she can forever breathe easily and walk freely in the light of God's grace and love. Man Killed Near Shelburne
On Saturday, June 4 at approximately 10: 40 p.m. a motorcycle travelling westbound on Highway 89 east of Shelburne, had just completed a pass of another westbound vehicle, when the motorcycle lost control west of the 4th Line of Mulmur Township. The motorcycle upon completing the pass lost control and struck the north gravel shoulder. The driver of the motorcycle was attended to by emergency services at the scene, then transferred to Stevenson Memorial Hospital in Alliston for further medical attention. The driver was then transported by ambulance to Sunnybrook Critical Health Care Services in Toronto, where he succumbed to his injuries on Sunday morning, June 5.
The deceased driver is 44-year-old Carl Lee FLETCHER of Walkerton. Dufferin Ontario Provincial Police and TTCI accident investigative services are still investigating the collision. Anyone who might have witnessed the collision is asked to call Ontario Provincial Police Police Constables TARDIF or LAWSON at Dufferin Ontario Provincial Police detachment 1-519-925-3838.

Will be sadly missed by 15 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Survived by two brothers Russell (Mona) KRAMP and Ken (Aggi) KRAMP, a twin sister Leona WILTSHIRE, a sister Marion (Jim) WALKER and a sister-in-law Vi KRAMP. Of Sydney, Nova Scotia. Called by God at the age of 86, William passed away quietly surrounded by his family on January 15, 2005. He was the son of the late Joseph and Bridget (KENT) TARGETT, the stepson of the late Ned GRIFFIN. He is survived by his three sons, Bill (Kay), Markham, Ontario, Gary (Pauline), Cayman Islands and Brian (Cathy), Sydney, Nova Scotia and his grandchildren, Michael, Richard, Gregory, Cassandra and Jason, who loved their Papa very much. Also survived by one stepbrother, Gerald GRIFFIN of Toronto, a brother-in-law, Tom TAILOR/TAYLOR and sister-in-law, Peggy RYBA- TRAVIS, both of Sydney. He was predeceased by his wife, Margaret (CLEARY,) sister, Rita TAILOR/TAYLOR, brothers, Leo and Ethelbert, stepbrother, Eddie GRIFFIN and two brothers who died in infancy. Bill worked at the Sydney Steel Plant in the Bar and Rod Mill from 1937-1983, when he retired. He was a Veteran of the Second World War and served overseas from 1941-1946. He spent countless hours on the soccer field and at gymnastics events cheering for his grandchildren and will be missed terribly. He was devoted to his wife and family. TARNOPOLSKY, Joanne Gerdina (née KRAMER)
Unexpectedly, at home on February 6, 2005 at the age of 61. Joanne, wife of the late Walter TARNOPOLSKY, Justice of the Court of Appeal for Ontario, is survived by her children Michelle and Greg, her partner John HABA, her mother Joanne KRAMER and her brother Nick KRAMER.
Born in Leiden, Holland on May 12, 1943, Joanne moved to the United States with her family when she was seven years old. She was educated at Colorado State College (B.A., 1964), the Sorbonne in Paris (1967) and the University of Rochester (M.A., 1971), and lived in France from 1964-1967, working as an au-pair. She had lived in several different states before she moved to Canada in 1971 and accepted a position teaching French at York University, where she met her husband Walter. Joanne received a Ph.D. in linguistics from Laval University in 1983 and taught French linguistics at York University from 1987-1994. After Walter's death, Joanne left teaching to pursue her passion, exploring studies in new-age mysticism and philosophy. In 1997, she started her own publishing company, Paedusis Publications Inc., and after 10 years of writing, she completed her life's work, The Gospel According to Mary Magdalene: A Trilogy, shortly before she died.
She was a deeply spiritual person with a great love of animals and a gift for gardening and cooking. She was also a cultured intellectual who travelled extensively and was fluent in four languages. Most of all, she was a fiercely dedicated daughter, wife, and mother who will be profoundly missed.
A visitation will be held for Friends and family at the St. Volodymyr Cultural Centre, 1280 Dundas Street West, Oakville, Ontario from 10-11 a.m. on Monday, February 14, followed by a family-officiated service and interment, performed according to her wishes. Refreshments will served afterwards. Donations to the Canadian Wildlife Foundation would be appreciated in lieu of flowers. Evelyn retired from Northern Telecom after 22 years of dedicated service.
