Crash kills woman
Canadian Press
Kingsville -- A multiple-vehicle crash claimed the life of an Essex woman on Highway 3 here.
Sharon FORD, 61, was killed when her westbound car was hit head-on by another car on Saturday.
Essex Ontario Provincial Police said the other car, driven by 74-year-old June TAGGART of Essex, was eastbound on Highway 3 when it travelled into the path of a westbound car. TAGGART's vehicle continued in the westbound lane and then collided with FORD's vehicle.
TAGGART's car became airborne and landed on the hood of a car driven by 25-year-old Shannon BUCHANAN of Harrow. Both TAGGART and BUCHANAN suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
