Mission Circle of the church and formerly served on the renovation
committee. A public memorial service will be held at the Sifton
Funeral Home, 118 Wellington Street, Saint Thomas on Tuesday, April
12th at 1 p.m. There will be no public visitation prior to the
day of service. Mrs.
BROWN's cremated remains will be interred
privately in Elmdale Memorial Park. Memorial donations to Centre
St. Baptist Church gratefully acknowledged.

Royal Canadian Air Force in 1942. Following his discharge, he
moved to St. Catharines where he co-founded and presided as president
of Niagara Welder's Supply until selling his interest to Union
Carbide in 1991. During his career he served several terms as
Chairman of the Canadian Welding Society and The Ontario Welder's
Supply Association. Jim and his wife Joan were active golf and
curling members of The St. Catharines Golf and Curling Club for
over 55 years. He served several years on the Board of Directors,
becoming an Honorary Member in 1999. At his Tribute it was stated:
'Jim is a mild-mannered man of integrity and gentlemanly qualities.
Many of our older members have known him for decades and what
we have written will not be news to them. However, we would bet
that every one of them considers themselves to be one of his
Friends and you can be sure that they carry that distinction
with pride. That is the essence of Jim
MOFFATT'.

art history. An accomplished artist, Mim was a highly valued
and talented member of the Canadian Society of Painters in Water
Colour and the Heliconian Club (past president) for over 60 years.
Some of Mim's artwork may be found today at the Robert McLaughlin
Gallery in Oshawa, the Canadian Society of Painters in Water
Colour On-Line Gallery and the Art Gallery of Peel in Brampton.
Up until very recently, Mim thoroughly enjoyed her weekly painting
sessions with her friend and fellow artist, Fred
FLETCHER.

to Ida Coloma, 'Mum's' faithful companion and housekeeper for
over 25 years, as well as for the dedicated, constant care and

sudden and untimely death on Tuesday, December 20, 2005. He was
full of character and life and will be greatly missed. He leaves
his loving wife Joan. Much loved father of Jennifer, Jeff and

203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) Thursday
afternoon 2-4 and evening 7-9 o'clock. Funeral Mass will be held
in Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, 60 Allan Drive, Bolton
on Friday morning, December 23 at 9 o'clock. Followed by cremation.
Parish prayers will be held Thursday evening at 7 o'clock. If
