Brother of Margaret, Bruce,
Howard (Clara), Dorthea, and Ruth. Gordon was a lover of music,
poetry, nature, justice, and his family. He was a respected educator,
an active volunteer, and a valued member of the Niagara and Bala
Communities. He was involved with the Kiwanis Club, Salvation
Army, Meals on Wheels, Niagara Concerts, and the University of
Guelph Alumni. In his retirement Gordon also enjoyed skiing,
skating, sailing, and singing. Family will receive Friends at
the Morse and son Chapel of the Morgan Funeral Homes, 5917 Main
Street, on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock. A memorial service
will be held at Stamford United Church (3855 St. Peter Street,
Niagara Falls) on Thursday morning at 11: 00 o'clock. In lieu
of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society or

His career took him from Halifax to Montreal and Toronto and
ultimately he traveled worldwide. Although he had a passionate
and successful career in international finance his love was for
his family. This gave him his greatest pleasure in life. He was
an extraordinary man who led an exemplary life. He was a loving
husband, a wonderful father and the greatest Grampy ever!!! He
will be terribly missed. Cremation has taken place. Friends may
call at the Gilchrist Chapel - McIntyre and Wilkie Funeral Home,
One Delhi Street, Guelph (from 1-2 p.m. Saturday, May 28, 2005)
immediately followed by a Memorial Service at the Gilchrist Chapel
at 2: 00 p.m. A reception will follow in the Trillium Room of
