(SIGMUND,) beloved wife of Jerry for 53 years,
passed away on February 27, 2005 in Toronto, Ontario after a
lengthy and courageous battle with cancer. Alena is lovingly
remembered by her children, Paul (Tracey) of Newmarket, Ontario
and Susan LANGLAIS
(Garry) of Canmore, Alberta; and granddaughters
Gillian, Annie and Jackie. Alena will be missed by her sister
Jitka PATERSON of London, England and her brother John
SIGMUND
(Hilary) of Newcastle, England. Alena was born on March 22, 1922
in Czechoslovakia. She loved gardening, bridge, reading and spending
time with her family and Friends. A private family graveside
service will be held; a reception for family and Friends will
follow on Thursday, March 3rd, at 1: 30 p.m., 2005 at York Visitation
Chapel and Reception Centre, 160 Beecroft Road, Willowdale, Ontario.

After a short illness passed away peacefully on Saturday July
30th, 2005 at the age of 51. Her courage, strength and guidance
were an inspiration to her family and Friends up until the time
of her passing. Loving, caring wife and mother, she will live
on in the hearts of Joe, Steven and Linda. Devoted daughter of
Marsina SIGNORETTI and her deceased father, Marco
SIGNORETTI.
Alba will be truly missed by her brothers, Dan and his wife Mary-Lyn,
Rob and his wife Margaret; sisters-in-law Nina and her husband
Pat, Maria and her husband Felice; brothers-in-law John and his
wife Liliana, Paul and his wife Nina; many special nieces and
nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and Eddie. She will be lovingly
remembered, forever missed and always in the hearts of all whose
lives she touched. Visitation on Tuesday 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to
9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge Street (at Goulding,
south of Steeles). Mass Wednesday August 3rd at 9: 30 a.m., St.
