Died in Toronto with Heidi and Shelly by her side on Thursday,
August 11, 2005 after a difficult battle with cancer. Born May
24, 1936 in Detroit, Barbara's beauty and sophistication brought
her many close Friends. Moving to Toronto in 1975 with her two
daughters, Barbara continued with her career of teaching children
with disabilities. We will remember her generosity, her large
heart, and her love of Godiva chocolate, Chanel #5, the New York
Times, and Mortimer her cat. Barbara will be greatly missed by

siblings Lynn, Gary, and Judy, grandchildren Sam and Ruby, along
with her many close family and Friends. The memorial service
will be held Monday, August 15th at 11: 00 in the chapel of Mount
