Born in Shrewsbury, England on December 31, 1948. Dear daughter of the late Oliver Gordon SARGEANT and the late former Grace Mary DODD. Carole was a member of Saint John's Anglican Church, Tillsonburg and was formerly employed as a teller at the C.I.B.C. Bank, Tillsonburg (1981-2000) and Lloyd's Bank in England (1967-1973). Much loved wife of 36 years to Leslie Frank BURDEN. Loving mother of Caroline (Scott) RYDER, London and Paul (Jennifer) BURDEN, Tillsonburg. Proud grandmother of Cameron BURDEN. Dear sister of Michael (Louise) SARGEANT, Fingal, twin sister Christine (Melvin) ARNOLD, Shrewsbury, England and Linda (Thomas) ALVELEY, England. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. resting at the Verhoeve Funeral Home, 262 Broadway, Tillsonburg until Saturday morning, July 9, 2005, thence to Saint John's Anglican Church, Tillsonburg for funeral service at 11 a.m. by Reverend Richard A. Of Summerfield, New Brunswick passed away at St. Joseph - Hotel Dieu Hospital, Perth-Andover on September 25, 2005. He was 72. Born in Knoxford, he was a son of the late Lee Franklin and Hazel Toms (LONGSTAFF) of Strathroy, Ontario. A devoted family man, Oulton is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, the former Phyllis Iola MONTGOMERY, Oakland; sons Dalton Edward HARRISGREEN (Kim HARRIS), London, Ontario, Leonard Lee (Roselyn WHITNEY), Fredericton, Robert Oulton (Sherry McQUADE), Summerfield, daughters Marlene Hazel SIPPRELL (Carl,) Perth-Andover, and Vickie Grace NICHOLSON (Chris,) Summerfield; brothers Leslie (Dorothy (Dot) FORSYTHE), Strathroy, Ontario, R. Franklin, Summerfield, Gideon of Strathroy, Ontario, and Wallace (Dolly (Darlene) PIERCE,) Strathroy, Ontario, sisters Leah CARLISLE (Merritt), Summerfield, and Thelma BLOOMFIELD (and her companion William (Bill) WARDELL,) Strathroy, Ontario; 11 grandchildren and one great grandchild one uncle, Stanley Oulton LONGSTAFF (Helen RYDER,) Knoxford, and two aunts, Margaret LONGSTAFF (Antworth) of Lincoln, and Joyce LONGSTAFF (Plant) of Florida; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Ann was predeceased by her beloved Reedie, and is survived by her daughter, Sandra MacDOUGALL (Bart,) son, John BLAIKIE (Lucy,) grandchildren John, Bruce, Hugh and Tim RYDER, and Andrew and Diana BLAIKIE, and 11 great-grandchildren. A private family service will be held. The family is most grateful to the staff at Belmont House and to Jacqueline Leslie, her caregiver for the past 3 years, for their loving care. Loving mother of Wayne and his wife Pat of Sunderland, Ken and his wife Karen of Port Perry, and Lynda MORROW and her partner Ray PENNEY of Port Perry. Much loved grandmother of Shane (Sandi,) Derek (Jen), Kerry, Steve (Stephanie), Shannon (Daniel), Tara, and Ryan. Adored great-grandmother of Tom, Mia-Lynn, Issac, Nathanael, Natalie, Lauren, Jessica, and Kaitlin. She will be sadly missed by her sister Mildred RYDER and her brother Fred WELDRICK (Dorothy.)
