and integrity were the values that guided Jim's life. He was
committed to maintaining the high standards of the profession
of dentistry through his involvement with the Royal College of
Dental Surgeons, the licensing body for Ontario dentists, and
every day in his 40 years as a practising dentist. He enthusiastically
participated for many years as a member of Lindsay Town Council,
Lindsay Board of Parks Management, Lindsay Police Services Board,
and many other volunteer activities. Fondly remembered by his
former colleagues, patients and staff. He was also known for
his great meals and warm hospitality, and leaves many Friends
who shared his passions for skiing, tennis, cottage life, and
lively discussions. Special thanks to our supportive Friends

Walter, on September 11th, 2005, in his 77th year. Beloved husband
of Margot, for over 50 years. Much loved father of Wolfgang and
his wife Fiona, Roy and his wife Rose, Stewart and his wife Sharine.
Predeceased by his parents, Julie and Erhard, of Germany. Beloved
brother of Sophie, Eric, Renate and Guenter. Cherished grandfather
of Elizabeth, Mercedes and Brock; Ryan, Troy and Chloe; Brittany,
Savannah, Xavier and India. Walter and Margot emigrated from
Germany in 1956 to start and build a new life in Canada. A successful
building contractor, Walter was involved in the construction
of hundreds of schools, churches, factories and buildings throughout
the Greater Toronto Area and beyond. It is not possible to travel
in this city, without viewing a building structure formed by
this great man. He will be sadly missed by many... his beloved
family, his loyal Friends, his employees and business associates,
as well as the many whom were given the opportunity to meet and
work with him over his lifetime. Friends may call at Turner and
Porter "Peel" Chapel 2180 Hurontario St. (Hwy. #10 North of Queen
Elizabeth Way) on Thursday, September 15 at 3 o'clock for a Service
of Remembrance with visitation one hour prior to service time.
