ROZAK, Marie Jane
Passed away peacefully, at St. Joseph Hospital in Comox, British Columbia on January 8, 2005 in her 83rd year. Born in Chatfield, Manitoba March 28, 1922. After a career with Bell Canada in Toronto, Marie moved to Comox and enjoyed 24 years of retirement. Devoted and loving mother to Larry and his wife Vicky, Irene and her husband Cameron, cherished grandmother to Lisa, Michael, Marlene and Brian. She will be sadly missed by her great-grandchildren Daralyn and Hayden. Private cremation has taken place at the Comox Valley Funeral Home in Courtenay, British Columbia. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Forever loved and never forgotten.

ELCHYSHYN, Nick
Passed away peacefully at St. Michael's Hospital, March 18, 2005. Nick was born in Manitoba, February 19, 1920, son of the late Sam and Paraska ELCHYSHYN. Predeceased by brothers Fred (1983,) John (1991) and George (1994) and sisters Pauline WERHUN (1988,) Mary FOSTER (1994,) Pearl JAMIESON (1995) and Annie ROZAK (1996.) Survived by his sister Catherine TORBIAK of Winnipeg and brother-in-law Bruce FOSTER of Essex, and many nieces and nephews. In accordance with his wishes, there was no visitation. Following cremation, Nick's remains will be interred at Pine Hills Cemetery on Monday, March 28 with a committal service at 11 a.m. Our special thanks to the many staff of St. Michael's for their care and to Jim JAMIESON for his support of Nick in his later years.

Widow of the late Reverend Julian. Died suddenly on Monday August 22, 2005 at home at the age of 92. She leaves behind her four children Wira, Christina with husband Bohdan ROZANEC, George with wife Marika and Martha with husband Ben TYCHOLIS along with her seven grandchildren Roman, Andrew, Sophia, Kathryn, Larissa, Tamara and Tanya. She will be sadly missed by her family and close Friends in Canada, U.S.A. and Ukraine for her loving and generous heart and deep devotion to religious life. The family would like to thank Dr. Wm. DYMON for his dedicated care. Donations in her memory may be made to the Ukrainian Catholic Church in Lourdes, France as it was her wish. John Stevenson (Jack) passed away at Parkwood Hospital on Friday, March 11, 2005, in his 86th year. Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth (Betty) WOOD (2001.) Much loved father and father-in-law of Laura and Michael ROZEN of London and Susan and Marc CHRISTIE of Mississauga. Loving grandpa of Lisa and Jennifer CHRISTIE. Dear brother of Robert (Bob) WOOD of Brockville and brother-in-law of Don and Ann CAMPBELL of Toronto. Also survived by a number of wonderful nieces and nephews. Jack was a World War 2 veteran who served in the Royal Canadian Corps Signals from 1941 to 1945 in Britain, Italy and Holland. Cremation has taken place. It is with great sadness that the family announce the passing of Catherine JOHNSON on May 5th, 2005 at the Groves Memorial Community Hospital in her 56th year. Catherine will be greatly missed by her husband of 32 years Richard JOHNSON. Her children Jeremy, Jennifer and Jillian will lovingly remember Catherine. Memories of Catherine will be shared by her mother Marion HAYES, her brother Brian JOHNSON (Chris,) her sisters Maureen ROZON (Marcel) and Geraldine KUHN (Richard.) Fondly remembered by many extended family members. Catherine's care and influence has touched many people as an employee with the Upper Grand District School Board for 20 years and as a Librarian in Fergus for 5 years. Missed by his mother-in-law Anna MOLNAR. Dear grandfather of Katie and Matthew. Survived by his brothers TOTH Bela, TOTH Jozsef, TOTH Jeno, his sister Ludanyi ROZSA and by his brother TOTH Zsiga all of Hungary. Andra was a proud employee of the City of London from 1973 until his retirement in 1994. Elizabeth, Dianne, Esther and Epiphany would like to sincerely thank our caring family, Friends, and neighbours for their kindness and support during the sad loss of our loving Husband, Father, and Poppa. A heartfelt thanks goes to Bob's brother Ted, his wife Gayle, and their son Ryan, for their never-ending dedication and support to the family. Special thanks and appreciation to those who gave beautiful flowers, generous donations to the Georgian Hospice, thoughtful cards, and kind messages of sympathy.
Many thanks go to Dr. FURTADO, Dr. LAKIN, and the kind nurses at Collingwood General and Marine Hospital for helping us with our sudden loss. Also, a special thank-you goes to the police and ambulance attendants who helped us in our time of need. The care and compassion of P.C. Paula MILNE will be forever remembered. We would like to thank all those who were able to attend the funeral service to recognize the life of a remarkable and greatly loved man. Special thanks to those who contributed to the ceremony: Reverend Julie MORDEN for her kind ministrations and comforting service, Walter BORTHWICK and Brian MacLEAN for their compassionate words, Dave ROZYCKI for his touching rendition of "Danny Boy," Susan WELLS, Brandi CLEMENT and Janel BASCOM for their inspiring verses, the talented musicians who provided the beautiful music during the ceremony. Guy PUCCINI and staff for their wondefful offering of food after the ceremony, and the staff of Country Life Resort and Park Place for their kind and helpful support in arranging the service.
