TILATTI, Joseph (May 26, 1925-December 22, 2005)
After a fifteen month battle, he succumbed to complications from pancreatic cancer. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife Elena, his son Louis (Dana), his grand_sons Michael and Alexander, his older sister Anna, nephew Mario, niece Rosa, and their families of Udine, Italy. Joseph will be fondly remembered by all of his family and Friends in Canada and Italy. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 27, 2005 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2005 at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church (191 Wade Gate, Thornhill). Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. RONALDSON, David A.
Passed away peacefully on Monday, December 19, 2005 at the Alexandra Marine and General Hospital in Goderich with family by his side. Born in Torryburn, Scotland, he is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Margaret and their three sons, David (Julie), Ian (Nancy) and Scott (Wendy). The proud grandfather of Michael, Andrew, Jillian and D.J. he has enjoyed his retirement in Goderich for the past 21 years. A Past Master of the Merrill Masonic Lodge in Dorchester and long time member of the Royal Canadian Legion, 32 years, his passion for golf and family kept him young and active until succumbing to his battle with cancer. He was 80 years young at the time of his passing and will be sadly missed by all who knew him. The family wishes to thank Friends and neighbours for all of their support during this difficult time. As per his wishes, no memorial services will be held. Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Friday, April 15, 2005 at The Village of Wentworth Heights, Hamilton. Survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Kathleen (HITCHING) of Smith Falls, Ontario. Cliff was the last remaining sibling of eleven brothers and sisters born to Herbert GUNNING and Agnes RONDEAU of Port Alexander, Ontario. Cherished father of daughter Judy (and husband Wayne) of Oakville, sons Alan ( and wife Janet) of Caledonia, Ronald ( and wife Joanne) of Kingston, and Bill (and his wife Margaret) of Port Coquitlam, British Columbia. Adored grandfather and sadly missed by Christopher, Cory, Shannon, Jeffrey, Kyle and Lauren. Special "Greatgrampie" to Caitlin and Kieran. Cliff is fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, Friends and neighbours whom he valued so highly throughout his lifetime. It is with deep sadness that the family of John CURRIE announces his passing on October 4, 2005 at the age of 74. Beloved husband of Audrey (BOYD) for 56 years. Loving father to Candi TUCKER (Dermot,) Jackie CURRIE (Tom HAMLIN) and Sandy CURRIE. Proud grandfather of Bob and Sean TUCKER, and Michael ZOLIS. Missed by his faithful dog Duke. Cherished brother of Anne MILLER, Susan COOK, Catherine RONDINA and the late Joan SCOTT. He will be missed by many nephews and nieces, their families, the whole Currie clan, and his many Friends and neighbours. John was a long time employee of the Federal Government (Old Age Security). John was known for his quick wit and his amazing ability to make people laugh. He was a familiar person in the neighbourhood, sitting on his verandah speaking to, and making Friends with, anyone walking by with a dog. MARENTETTE, Sister Mary Denis
At London Health Sciences Centre, University Campus, on Friday, June 10th, 2005 Sister Mary Denis MARENTETTE of the Community of the Sisters of St. Joseph of the Diocese of London, in her 86th year and 65th year of religious life. Survived by her sister Gloria MARREN, her niece Anne Marie KERSEY, nephews Bob and Patrick RONDOT and her community, the Sisters of St. Joseph. Her parents, Denis MARENETTE and Ida (BONDY) and her sister Juliette (RONDOT) died some years ago.
Sister Mary Denis, native of Windsor, Ontario, was a graduate of Saint Mary's Academy and of the University of Windsor, pursued post graduate work in French at Laval University. Her contribution to education from 1943 to 1973 was Primary School to Senior Secondary and Principalship. At the end of her teaching ministry, she gave her life to a wide variety of jobs; homemaking and pastoral work in Leamington, serving at Marion Villa, London and hospitality and tutoring of students at Mount St. Joseph. Although Sister Mary Denis engaged in so many works of our community, her most profound work was her patient enduring blindness and total inaction for fourteen years in our infirmary, Ignatia Hall. Visitors will be received at Mount St. Joseph Motherhouse, 1486 Richmond Street, N., London on Saturday, June 11, 2005 from 1: 30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2-4 p.m. Prayers Saturday evening at 7 p.m. Mass of the Resurrection in Immaculate Conception Chapel on Sunday, June 12, 2005 at 7 p.m. Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery on Monday, June 13th, at 9: 30 a.m. (John T. Henry George, died peacefully at home on the 28th of April 2005, surrounded by his family. Lovingly remembered by his wife, Wendy RONGITS, children Stephen and Paula RONGITS, Chris and Carrie Rongits RUBER, and seven grandchildren; Caitlyn, Chase, Bailey, Chloe, Maxwell, Colin and Faith. Henry will be sadly missed by his sisters Grace, Katheryn (Phil), and Irene (Jim), and brothers Robert RONGITS (Mary), Joe (Libby) and Bob (Lucy) as well as many nieces and nephews. A dedicated family man, Henry retired from General Motors after 30 years to fulfill his dream of farming. He did it his way - with truth, integrity and love. He will be missed by many. "Don't count the years-count the memories". Respecting Henry's wisher cremation has taken place. There will be no Visitation, a Celebration of Life will take place on Tuesday, May 3rd at the Lampman Funeral Home, 724 Canboro Road, Fenwick at 10: 00 a.m., followed by a Committal of ashes at Bismarck United Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Bismarck United Church.

Diane June (CARTER) EVOY, passed away on Friday, August 12th, 2005 at the age of 60. She will be sadly missed by her children Tammy and Ken LARGE of Sarnia, Michelle EVOY and Chris BOYER of Australia and Crystal EVOY and David WILSON of Sarnia and her best friend Andrew RONHOLM of Sarnia. Sister of Terry McDonald and Larry McCUTCHEN of Niagara Falls, Peggy JAHNKE of St. Catharines and Bill CARTER. Sadly missed by grandchildren Jaclyn, Bruce, Aimee, Andrew and Riley and ex husband Wayne EVOY. She was predeceased by her mother Sadie KELCH and brother Kenneth CARTER. She ha been employed as a Dispatcher for local Taxi companies. Friends may visit with the family at the D.J. Robb Funeral Home, (102 Victoria Street North, Sarnia) on Tuesday evening between the hours of 7: 00 to 9:00 p.m. Cremation and interment of ashes will be held later at Resurrection Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jim FITZGERALD on July 9, 2005. Husband of the late Margaret Gilday FITZGERALD. Beloved father, teacher, and, friend of Anne, (Garry HUNTER,) Venu, (Harida ELSEA), Bruce, (Leda), Jane, (Robin CLOW), Barbara, (John RONSLEY,) and Joni, (Harvey GOLDMINTZ.) Loving " Grandpa" to 'Sara, (Sean FOLKES), Kimberley, Michael, Lindsay, Morgan, Taylor, Mairen, Rebecca, Jason, Emma, Clair, Heather, Shawn, Melissa, Melanie, Laura, and Bryna, (deceased). Jim was a Veteran of the Second World War. His business career was with the T. Eaton Company from 1948 until his retirement. He then filled his time with family, golf, and bridge. In his last few days of life, Jim never lost his sense of humour. A special thanks to the Goldmintz family for keeping "Grandpa" a special person in their life. The family would also like to extend their gratitude to the staff at the Errinrung Nursing Home in Thornbury for their exceptional care and many kindnesses to both our father and our family. Visitation will take place at Saint John's Anglican Church York Mills, (Garnsworthy Room), 19 Don Ridge Drive, on Wednesday, July 13, 2005 from 7: 00 to 9:00 p.m. The service of remembrance will be held in the Church on Thursday at 12: 00 noon. Dear father of Suzanne and her fiancé Blair FRANKLIN of Woodstock, and Jacqueline RONSON at home. Dear son of Jean of Tillsonburg, and dear brother of Chere of Alabama, and uncle to Troy (Rachael) DENNISON of West Virginia. George was predeceased by his father William RONSON (1977,) and his father and mother-in-laws Mervin (1979) and Marjorie KAUFMAN (2001). George was the owner and proprietor of Ronson's Audiotronics of Tillsonburg. The family will receive Friends at Ostrander's Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (842-5221) on Wednesday, October 5, 2005 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services for George will be held in Ostrander's Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday October 6, 2005 at 1 p.m. Pastor Bryan BUTCHER officiating.
