BOUCHER, Cassandra Marie " Cassie"
Peacefully at her home with her loving family at her side, on Friday, May 6, 2005. Cassie BOUCHER of Owen Sound at the age of sixteen. Beloved daughter of Derrick and Lorina. Dear sister of Dillon. She will be sadly missed by her grandparents Red BOUCHER (Grampa Red), Jane PAUL, Emile and his wife Solange GOUIN and her great grandfather Vivian RIX. Dearest niece of Dean and Danny BOUCHER, Lisa GOUIN, Lionel GOUIN and his wife Shannon, Lee-Ann and her husband Bob CHEESEMAN and Nicole GOUIN. She is also survived by many cousins. Predeceased by her grandmother Mel BOUCHER and an uncle Elvis BOUCHER. Friends are invited to the Tannahill Funeral Home (376-3710) for visiting on Monday evening from 7: 00 to 9: 00 p.m. Thence to St. George's Anglican Church for visiting on Tuesday from 12 noon until service time, where the funeral service will be conducted at 2 o'clock with Father Ed WAGNER officiating. HOSIE, Grace Edythe (née RIX)
83, London Ontario passed away peacefully, Thursday December 1, 2005 at London Health Science Centre, Westminster Campus. Cherished wife of Douglas Murray HOSIE for 55 years. Leaves behind son, Paul Douglas HOSIE and wife Carrie, as well as her Grandsons Calvin and Kaleb of Newmarket, Ontario. Will be missed by her sister Bernice HANSLER of Guelph, Ontario and her brother Vivian RIX of Paisley, Ontario. Grace was 3rd child of George and Jean RIX. Grace faced death courageously, taking comfort in her Bible-based faith in a coming resurrection back to earth in a new world. (John 5: 28, 29) Memorial service is to be held, Saturday, December 10th, 2005 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 459 Second Street, London Ontario. 2 p.m. Gerald HENDERSON officiating. Many thanks to the nursing staff and the attending physicians of the Victoria Hospital for their competent, professional and tender care.

STRANG, Betty Jeanne (née RIX)
(Resident of Haliburton, Ontario). At Extendicare - Haliburton on Thursday evening, March 10, 2004, in her 88th year. Beloved wife of Max. Loving mother of Bob and his wife Maria of Toronto, Jim and his wife Carol of Niagara-on-the-Lake. Blessed by five grandchildren (predeceased by one) and six great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her daughter Lynda, her two brothers and two sisters. Also lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. A private family Funeral Service was held. Interment later at Mount Pleasant Cemtery, Toronto. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Proud Pioneers would be appreciated by the family. In her 97th year, died peacefully on January 10, 2005 at the Providence Healthcare Centre, where she had been treated for two years by a loving, professional medical staff. Dixie is survived by her husband Bill of sixty-two years; their sons Douglas (wife Ruth) and Grant (wife Yoshie); six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and her many nieces and nephew. Friends may call at Blythwood Road Baptist Church, 80 Blythwood Road, Toronto, from 7-9 p.m. on Thursday, January 13, and then on Friday, January 14, from 10 a.m. until service time in the church at 11 a.m. After the service, a reception will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to Providence Healthcare Foundation, 3276 St. Clair Ave. East, Toronto, Ontario M1L 1W1 would be appreciated.
