McGAURAN, Mabel Leilla (née REVEL)
Passed away peacefully at Southlake Hospital in Newmarket on Sunday, February 27, 2005, in her 92nd year. Mabel, beloved wife of the late Theodore. Dear sister of Thereasa COLLEY. Predeceased by sister Viola CLARK and brothers John, Thomas and Edwin REVEL. Loving aunt to June BUTT, Richard CLARK, Carol GRANT, Steven CLARK, Gary CLARK, David CLARK, the late William CLARK (Irene,) Sharon YOVANOFF, Barb WILLIAMS, Patsy ROSE, Sue GALLANT, Theresa VOLICK and the late Tommy and Don REVEL. Will be sadly missed by the many great and great-great-nieces and nephews. Mabel will be especially missed by her niece June BUTT and her husband Ed, her great-niece Kimberley BUTT, great-nephew Glenn BUTT and his wife Deborah and great-great-niece DeAnna BUTT. Will also be missed by Elizabeth and James DICECCA. Family and Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Rd. (north of Lawrence Ave.), Weston, on Thursday, March 3, 2005 from 11 a.m until the time of service at 1 p.m. in the Ward Chapel. Interment Beechwood Cemetery. Donations in memory of Mabel may be made to the Canadian National Institute for the Blind.

FREEMAN, Neil Joseph
Peacefully, Neil died at home at Port Hope, Ontario on October 23, 2005 in his 80th year. Predeceased by his beloved wife Florence (Teddy) FREEMAN and his parents Lorena and Keith FREEMAN. Neil is survived by his brother Merkland FREEMAN of Halifax, step-daughter Patricia WESTCOTT of Toronto, grand_sons Raymond WESTCOTT (Judith ARMOUR) of Hamilton and Neil WESTCOTT of Macau, great-grandchildren Emma and Douglas and niece Joy (Vern) FORSTER of Hudson, Quebec. Neil was the very dear friend of Alex, Dave, Lucy and Grace POLEY, Larry and Rose SMITH, and Phil and Pam REVELL, all of Port Hope, and John and Bessie BAIN of Dartmouth. A World War 2 Veteran, Neil served in the Merchant Navy and remained active in the Merchant Navy Association, attending the annual meetings until just before his death. Neil lived a life of quiet dignity and integrity, and earned the respect and affection of everyone who knew him. PATTERSON, A. Russel (1937-2005)
All too soon, on Saturday, November 26th, 2005 at Saint Mary's of the Lake Hospital, Kingston, in the comforting presence of a gracious God and a family whose love knows no limit. Russ was the beloved husband of Sharon Marie (née CLARK) and the cherished father and mentor of Timothy and his wife Christine of Apsley, and Christopher of Toronto. He was the proud grandfather of Carly and Hailey. Ross will be sadly missed by Sharon's family: Mom, Jean Clark, Carol and Maurice RANKIN, Faith CLARK, Laurie and Diana CLARK, Sylvia and Dennis MILLS, Jim and Brenda CLARK and their families. His cousins Jim and the late Agnes CUMMINGS, Raymond and the late David PATTERSON, Robert and Sandra PATTERSON, Don and Nora SMITH, Margaret and Wally REVELL and Lorne and Wendy McBRIDE are also a treasured part of his family. He was predeceased by his parents Mamie and Russel Sr. Russ received his education at Trent and Queen's Universities. After 15 years as a draftsman and with the loving support of his family, he began his teaching career at Fenelon Falls. A new adventure began in 1983 when Sharon was ordained by The United Church of Canada and the family moved to Arcola, Saskatchewan. Russ taught in five schools and directed the band program for the school division. He finished out a rewarding career at Dunbarton High School in Pickering. Russ and Sharon returned to Kingston in 1997. He has derived much pleasure in preparing family histories and playing music. He appreciated the love and support of his family and Friends throughout his life. His family would like to thank Judith of All-Care; all of the medical personnel who assisted during his illness, and the wonderful staff at Saint Mary's of the Lake for their care and kindness. Resting at the James Reid Funeral Home, Cataraqui Chapel (1900 John Counter Boulevard), Kingston, on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Tuesday, November 29, 2005 for service at Queen Street United Church (Clergy and Queen Streets), Kingston, at 2 p.m., with cremation to follow. FOX- REVETT, Claude Stephen (1922-2005)
Stephen died peacefully, at home, on Saturday, February 19, 2005, after a short illness, in his 83rd year. He was the beloved husband and friend for 53 years of Joan, dear father of David (Margaret), Julia (Peter RAYBOULD), Richard (Melissa) and Diana (Chris SYMONDS). He was Dada to Emily WILCH and Grandad to Jamie and Audrey FOX- REVETT, Michael and Elizabeth RAYBOULD, Lindsay, Cameron and Jeremy FOX- REVETT and Amanda, William and Tom SYMONDS. At the time of his death Stephen was still practicing real estate and was actively involved with the Order of St. Lazarus, Ionic Lodge, the Royal Canadian Legion, Trinity College and Christ Church Deer Park. He was an Aide-de-Camp to six Lieutenant Governors of Ontario and considered this appointment to be a great honour. His love of Muskoka provided an abiding interest and led to his participation as a member of Muskoka Lakes Ratepayers Association. The family wishes to thank our very special friend Barbara SYMMONS who both cheered and consoled Stephen and Joan during his illness. The Palliative Care Team from the Temmy Latner Centre were truly caring and supportive and the family is most grateful. The family will receive Friends at the Humphrey Funeral Home - A.W. Miles Chapel, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East), from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday, February 23rd. The funeral will be held at Christ Church Deer Park, 1570 Yonge Street (Heath and Yonge), on Thursday, Febr uary 24th at 11 o'clock. A reception will follow. Passed away peacefully at Peach Arch Hospital, White Rock, British Columbia. Mary was born in Alexandria, Egypt and immigrated to Montreal in 1954. She is predeceased by her loving husband Stelios and survived by her daughter, Betty REVOY (Russ) (Surrey, British Columbia), son, James (Violet), grandchildren Christopher and Sarah (Toronto, Ontario). Brothers Denis (Nassau, Bahamas); Efstratios (Lorraine) (Aurora, Ontario), predeceased by her brother Paul. Mary leaves behind loving nieces and nephews and many wonderful Friends.
Finally Mary is reunited with her beloved husband. Funeral services to be held in Montreal.
