Nestor was well-known as a dedicated
and caring teacher by thousands of Regina high school students
and colleagues, by students in rural Saskatchewan and Africa,
by students of the Gabriel Dumont Institute, and by students
at the University of Regina. He was an enthusiastic baker of
bread, golfer, curler, traveler, adventurer and musician. Nestor
was a great supporter of the arts, music, his beloved city and
province. Nestor also served our country in the Navy during World
War 2. He was a joyful and giving person whose service to his
church and greater community was of great importance to him.
His life was an inspiration to his family and Friends. A celebration
of his life was held on Friday, December 9th 2005 at 1: 30 p.m.
at Whitmore Park United Church, 336 Durham Drive, Regina. The

at the Saint Thomas Psychiatric Hospital and also at Marian Villa.
Resting at William Funeral Home, 45 Elgin Street, Saint Thomas until
Wednesday morning and then to Holy Angel's Church for Mass of
the Christian Burial at 10: 00 a.m. Visitation Tuesday from 2-4
and 7-9 p.m. Prayers will be recited at the funeral home on Tuesday
evening at 7: 00 p.m. Private family interment in St. Peter's

from Trinity College at the University of Toronto, Jim secured
a position with the Aluminum Company of Canada in Montreal. He
served as a Major in the Black Watch during this time. Jim then
embarked on a highly successful 36 year career in the investment
industry as a Registered Representative, Branch Manager and Executive.
His many community interests included volunteer activities with
the United Way and as past Chairman of the Red Cross London Capital
Campaign. His many passions and interests included being an active
golf and tennis member of the London Hunt and Country Club, the
London Squash Club (past president), skiing and having a green
thumb in his beautiful garden. Friends may call on Friday, October
28, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the James A. Harris Funeral Home,
