Bill passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2005 in his 88th year with his family by his side. Dear husband of Eleanor for 54 years. Loving father of Susan (Pat MUISE) and Jill O'BRIEN. Loving grandpa of Flannery, Cameron, Tegan and Stuart. Dear brother of Dan of Vancouver, Helen RECCHIA, Alfred " Bud" and the late May LINYCIA and Anne WARWICK. A complete service will be held in the chapel of the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (north of Lawrence Ave.), Weston on Tuesday at 2: 30 p.m. Reception to follow. Passed away peacefully, at Sheridan Villa, Mississauga, on Saturday, March 5, 2005, in her 87th year. She was predeceased by her beloved husband James LITTLE (1974.) Amy was the loving mother of Carol and her husband Bill RECK of Burlington, Pearl SLAWSON of Sault Ste. Marie, John HENDERSON and his wife Mary of Simcoe, and Patricia HENDERSON and her husband John of Calgary. She will be sadly missed by her 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She is survived by her siblings: Ada, Jim, Stanley and Edward, and was predeceased by Albert, Kate, Jane, Frank, Lillie, Donald, and Mary. Friends will be received at the MacKinnon Family Funeral Home, 55 Mill Street East, Acton, on Monday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be conducted in the "Shoemaker Chapel" by the Reverend Charles David HENDERSON on Tuesday at 2 o'clock. PAGE (2004,) passed away at Terrace Lodge, Aylmer on Wednesday, August 31, 2005, in her 83rd year. Devoted mother of Carol DALTON and her fiancé Bob STEWARD/STEWART/STUART of Dorchester, Janis DAVIE and her husband Michael of Aylmer, Cathy PAGE of London and the late Brian Robert PAGE (1967.) Dear sister of Henry RECKER and his wife Nea of Bothwell. Also survived by 8 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her son, Mrs. PAGE was predeceased by 6 brothers and 2 sisters. Born in Wheatley, Ontario, May 16, 1923, daughter of the late Henry and Helena (SEIFKER) RECKER. A resident of Saint Thomas since 1987, she was a member of St. Hilda's-St. Luke's Anglican Church, Saint Thomas. Mildred and her late husband Clarence ran their own family business, Page's Place, together. Peacefully at Summit Place in Owen Sound Tuesday morning, December 13th, 2005. Charlie ADAM/ADAMS of Owen Sound formerly of Sauble Beach in his 88th year. Charlie will always be loved by his wife of sixty-three years, the former Bernice LOUGHLEAN. He will be lovingly remembered by his children: Gordon (Beth,) Betty-Ann SOULIERE (Jim) and Steven (Andrea). Predeceased by his son Robert. Dad will be remembered fondly by is daughter-in-law Margaret and her husband Skip WILLIAMS. Survived also by seven grandchildren Joe and Corey ADAM/ADAMS; Alecia and Melissa CRAIG; and Jaymee, Shayleen and Raven ADAM/ADAMS as well as three great-granddaughters; Brooke, Jaylyn and Hannah. Survived by one sister; Blanche McCUTCHEON sister-in-law Mae RECKIN and Bernice's sisters Vern, Hilda and Yvonne. He was predeceased by three sisters and one brother. Honouring Charlie's wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service. Private arrangements have been made. Spring Interment Zion Cemetery. The family requests that donations in Charlie's memory be made to the M.R.I. Fund at the Grey Bruce Regional Health Centre. In loving memory of Joseph CORBIERE, May 24, 1922 - January 16, 2005.
Joseph CORBIERE, a resident of M'Chigeeng, died at the Wikwemikong Nursing Home on Sunday, January 16, 2005 at the age of 82 years. He was born on Manitoulin Island, the son of the late Edward and Emma (GEGWETCH) CORBIERE. Joe had many trades - farming, logging and saw milling, and worked at carpentry until his retirement in 1987. He loved horses and enjoyed horse pulls. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, trapping, and bingo, and was an avid gardener. Joseph is survived by his loving wife Gina (DEBASSIGE) CORBIERE. Loving father of Audrey and Susan of M'Chigeeng, Linda (and friend Dennis) of Minnesota, Jacqueline (and Phil) of British Columbia, Michael (and Penny), Joseph (and friend Rachelle,) and Lloyd all of M'Chigeeng. Dear brother of Mary RECOLLET of Birch island. Proud grandfather of seventeen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by two sons, one daughter, and one brother. Friends called at the family home, 598 Spring Bay Rd., M'Chigeeng on Tuesday, January 18, 2005 after 1: 30 pm until Thursday, at 10 am. Of Woodstock, born January 20, 1919 in Pulawy, Poland, passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2005 at Woodstock General Hospital. son of the late Alexander and Sophie RADZIWONCZYK. Beloved husband for 53 years of Eugenia (née BROSZKO.) Cherished father of Tess RADFORD of Ottawa. Predeceased by his parents in Poland, his daughter Elizabeth of Toronto (1988), and his brother Kazimierz of Warsaw. Dear brother of Maria RECZEK of Lublin and brother-in-law of Sophie BAILEY and Roman BROSZKO both of Whitby and Joe GROCHOWSKI of London. Also remembered by many nieces and nephews in Canada and Poland. Jerry spent five years in concentration camps (Auschwitz) and following liberation he joined the Polish Navy in Britain. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 55, the Woodstock Sailing Club and the Duplicate Bridge Club.
