At home, on June 27, 2005, Mrs. Halina CZUBA and her children Michal and Julia. Left to mourn their loss is beloved husband and father Jan CZUBA and loving daughter and sister Joanna. Survived by mother/grandmother, Marianna LOBODA, brother/uncle Miroslaw LOBODA and all of his family in Poland. They will be sadly missed by uncle Ignacy SZYMANSKI, cousin Teresa and Wes SZYMANSKI and their son Dominik, all Malewaj and LOBODA family in Poland, Regina RUCINSKA with her husband Hendryk and their children, grandparents Krystyna and Michal CZUBA, aunt Jadwiga and her husband Andrzej MAGDZIARZ with daughter Katarzyna, aunt Anna CZUBA, uncle Piotr CZUBA, uncle Tomasz CZUBA, great grandmother Agnieszka SZUBA and family of Eugeniusz, Kazimiera CZUBA and her son Jacek CZUBA with family from New Jersey and Pennsylvania, Wladyslawa and Stanislaw MIERZWA and their family of Poland, Aniela DZIADURA and her late husband Mieczyslaw. Julia ZMUDZKA and her family of Poland. Kazimierz CZUBA from Poland. Zofia and Bogdan MIERZWA with family. Cecylia and Marek DAVID and family, the RAK family and KUZIORA family of Hamilton. Visitation in the Lloyd R. Needham Funeral Chapel, 520 Dundas Street (London) on Sunday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Czestochowa Roman Catholic Church (419 Hill Street) on Monday, July 4th, 2005 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Peter's Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the CZUBA family through Toronto Dominion Bank.

Passed away peacefully at St. Joseph's Health Centre on Sunday, January 9, 2005 at the age of 80. Beloved wife of the late Frank RAK. Much loved mother of Satbir KHALSA and Robert. Loving Grandma of 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Passed away suddenly but peacefully on Wednesday, January 26, 2005 at the age of 60. Cherished husband to Krystyn (née RAK) of 36 years. Loving father to Tammy and her husband John GRASSA, Susan and her husband Tony CORNACCHIA, Tracy WARNER and to Robyn WARNER and Trevor BISCH. Beloved grandpa to Stefano GRASSA and to Crissy and Nicholas CORNACCHIA. Dear brother to Eva SONNENBURG and to Ingrid GAM. Dear son-in-law to Stanley and Helen RAK. Frank will be sadly missed by his extended family and Friends. Family and Friends will be received at Delmoro Funeral Home, 61 Beverly Hills Dr. (1 light south of Wilson Ave., west of Jane Street, 416-249-4499), on Friday, January 28, 2005 from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2005 at St. Andrew's Roman Catholic Church at 10: 00 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Martyrs Cemetery in Bradford. RAK, Helen Mary (née MacCORQUODALE) (May 21, 1923-February 1, Died peacefully at St. Joseph's Health Centre. Survived by her beloved brother Malcolm (Mickey) MacCORQUODALE, her daughters Susan Shepherd and Kim RAK, her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brothers and sisters: Angus, Florence, Rachel, Archie, Ian and Donald. At Helen's request, there will not be a service. Cremation. The family wishes to thank the caregivers at LOFT, Sistering and St. Joseph's Health Centre. Katina, beloved wife of George, dear mother of Paul (Effie), Mano (Toula), Jim (Sharon), Gerry (Eleni) and George (Irene). Loving "Yia Yia" of Giorgio, Rennie, Katie, Victoria, Catrina, Giorgia, Katianna, George and Hayley. Katina is survived by her sister Anna RAKIS (Paul,) brother Terry (Helen) and special thanks to her loving sister Rita who was there for her and supported the family throughout these difficult times. Formerly of Toronto, passed away at age 81, March 12, 2005 in Westport, Connecticut. Loving mother of Linda SOLWAY, Jacksonville, Florida, Rick and Leslie SOLWAY, Sherman Oaks, California. Eldest sister of Syd and Kathy PALMER, Sol and Iris RAKOFF, Lorraine and Norman SAVEIN, Sandra JOHNSON, all of Toronto, Alvin RAKOFF (Jackie, deceased,) London, England, Benn and Rosalie RAKOFF, Los Angeles, California, many nieces and nephews. Ruth, a Westport resident for 60 years, was a founding member of Temple Israel and the Westport Community Theatre where a Lifetime Membership Award was created in her honour. She was Past President of the District Democratic Party and for 3 decades held elected office as Justice of the Peace. Funeral services and shiva were held in Westport. Donations in her memory may be made to charities of your choice and sent to 1834 Bathurst Street, Toronto M5P 3K7.

RADOJKOVIC, Vera (née RAKONJAC)
Died peacefully, on Thursday, February 24, 2005, at St. Michael's Hospital, after a courageous battle with lung cancer for the past two and a half years. She will be sadly missed by her husband Dragomir, with whom she enjoyed a happy marriage for 49 years. In Canada she is survived by her brother-in-law Dragojub BOGDANOVIC and by his wife Vasilija and their sons Zlalko (Lubinka), Zoran (Gordana), Gordana (Mario), and six grandchildren Ljubomir, Nela (Anthony), Jelena, Vladimir (Stana), Roberto and Natalie. She is also leaving her best Friends Mike and Gula PEDIAS and their children Danny, Chris, Diane (Randy) and Fannie, and grandchildren Cody, Lindsay and Ryan. Many close Friends and kumovi in Canada and relatives and Friends in Serbia will also miss her. We are forever indebted to the staff of St. Michael's Hospital, Dr. Rashida HAQ and nurses in Oncology and Palliative Care departments, Dr. Andrea BEZJAK in Princess Margaret Hospital and to the staff at Providence Healthcare Palliative Care Department. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 26, 2005 at 11 a.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles), with visitation one hour prior. Interment York Cemetery.

God called Antonietta peacefully on January 15, 2005 from the North York General Hospital at the age of 54. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband Leonardo. She will be cherished by her dear children Tony and his wife Nadia, and Joseph. While re-united in heaven with her father Celestino and father-in-law Giuseppe, she will always be loved by her mother Michelina and mother-in-law Assunta. Proud grandmother of Cassandra and Samantha. She will always be remembered by her sisters Lina (Vince), Carmela (Salvo), and Tina (Michael). Loving sister-in-law to Lina (Leonardo) and Tony (Anna Maria). She will be held dear in the hearts of her nieces and nephews. Fondly missed by many relatives and Friends. The family would like to thank the following for the care given to Antonietta during her battle: Dr. TWEEDDALE, the chemo unit, the nurses on 6 North, and diagnostic imaging of North York General Hospital; Dr. RAKOVITCH, and Arlene Court of Sunnybrook; and her many Friends at Hospice Vaughan. Family will receive Friends at the Fratelli Vescio Funeral Homes Ltd. Passed away peacefully on July 12, 2005 in her 95th year at Livingston Manor in Listowel, Ontario. Mary was predeceased by her husband Joseph GARDON (1976,) her daughters Helen RAKOVSKY (1995) and Olga HRUSKA (2000) and her son-in-law Paul HRUSKA (1996.) Survived by her devoted son-in-law Joseph RAKOVSKY, and will be forever cherished in the hearts of her grandchildren, Robert and his wife Janice RAKOVSKY, Barbara and her husband Len KISIL, Susan and her husband Rod THOMPSON/THOMSON/TOMPSON/TOMSON and Bob and his wife Andrea HRUSKA. Proud Bapka of Justin, Michael, Nicholas and James, great-grandmother (G.G.) of Jessica, Kirsten, Benjamin, Riley, Christopher and Emma. Friends may visit at the Jerrett Funeral Home, 6191 Yonge Street (four blocks south of Steeles Ave.), North York, between 7-9 p.m. on Thursday. Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. in the chapel followed by interment in York Cemetery.
