Peacefully on Saturday, January 15, 2005 at Mount Sinai Hospital, Toronto, in his 73rd year. Beloved husband of Hilda (STEVENS.) Dear father of Brent and Eric and their daughters-in-law Sandra, Elizabeth and Diane. Predeceased by his parents, Margaret and Phillip and his brother, Eric. Ken is survived by his sisters, Audrey HUDSON, Kay PYKE and her husband Frank, Jean MURRAY and her husband Alex. He will be sadly missed by his 5 grandchildren, Caitlin, Evan, Taylor, Spencer and Graeme. A private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or St. Paul's United Church, 200 MacIntosh Avenue, Scarborough.

(Former employee of Dominion Malting and the City of Toronto)Passed away quietly at Ajax-Pickering Hospital on Wednesday, May 4, 2005. Norman, loving husband of the late Alice Jane. Loving father of Norman and his wife Karin, Hank (Henry) and his wife Irene. Proud grandfather of Angela, Derek, Cara and the late Darren. He will be lovingly remembered by his 6 great-grandchildren. Loving brother of Alice BILLARD, Ruth PYKE and the late Susan KENDALL and Laura PORTER, all of North Sydney. Resting at the Paul O'Conner Funeral Home, 1939 Lawrence Ave. East (between Warden and Pharmacy) from 12 noon Saturday until the time of the service in our chapel on Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m. Interment Resthaven Memorial Gardens.

PYKE, Leah Rosemary (née LARIVIERE)
Passed away peacefully at Peel Memorial Hospital on August 22, 2005 in her 94th year. Loving and devoted wife, daughter, sister, mother and ma. Predeceased by husband Roland, mother Mary, father Eugene, brothers Charlie, Gene and Ed, sisters Tessie, Cecile and Rosemary. Cherished mother to David, Lynda (Ken) and Lloyd (Jean). Ma to grandchildren Shannon, Roland (Kim), Nicole (John), Sean, Danny and Brendan and great-grandchildren Lorraine, Nixon, Sam and Pierce. You were so tired and held your hands up to touch those of the angels. Safe and at peace with the Lord and those who have gone before and have waited for you for so very long. Tonight we hear your light steps as you dance again the Gay Gordon with your "Danny Boy". In our hearts always. Friends will be received at the Scott Funeral Home "Brampton Chapel", 289 Main St. N., Brampton (905-451-1100), on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Saint Anne's Roman Catholic Church, 115 Vodden Street East, Brampton. Peacefully taken away on Monday, August 22, 2005. Beloved wife of the late Kenneth Gordon. Loving mother of Laurie SMITH and partner Dave, Margaret and her husband Dave KILPATRICK, Ken and his wife Darlene and the late Cathy and her husband Peter PYKE. Cherished Nana to Jason, Derek, Matthew, Nicholas, Jeffrey, Bryan, Christopher and Michael. Dear sister of Mary and Doris and the late Peter, John, Nick and Anne. She will be sadly missed by many relatives and Friends. Visitation will be held at Pine Hills Visitation Chapel and Reception Centre, 625 Birchmount Road, Scarborough, Ontario, (416-267-8229) on Thursday, August 25, 2005 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service in the chapel on Friday August 26, 2005 at 11: 00 a.m. Cremation. After a lengthy illness, on Thursday, December 15, 2005, at the Humber River Regional Hospital - Finch Site. Bill, loving husband of Betty. Cherished father of Sharon (Mrs. Jordan PYKE,) Joe (Cathy), and the late Gary and Doug. Loving grandfather of Nichole, Kendra, Joshua, and the late William, and great-grandfather to Andrew. Dear brother of Eileen GRAY/GREY, Doris GREEN, Alma HUNTER, Joyce THOMPSON/THOMSON/TOMPSON/TOMSON, Audrey ARMSTRONG, Gordon, and the late Ross and Joe. Family and Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Rd. (north of Lawrence Ave.), Weston, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday.
