FLYNN, Doreen (née WARD)
Surrounded by her family at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital, she joined her husband Stanley in the presence of the Lord, on July 10, 2005. Proud and loving mother of Elizabeth (Steven POAD,) Kathleen (Angelo BRUNETTI) and Geraldine (David PORTER.) Deeply loved Grandma of Christopher, Karyn, Andrea, Lauren, Kaitlin, Matthew and Megan. She will be fondly remembered by her Friends at Mississauga Quilters and Knitting Guilds, and the Volunteer Association of Credit Valley Hospital. Special thanks to the Intensive Care Unit staff at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital. Friends will be received at the Neweduk Funeral Home - "Mississauga Chapel", 1981 Dundas St. West (1 block East of Erin Mills Pkwy.), on Wednesday, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Christopher's Roman Catholic Church, 1771 Clarkson Rd., Mississauga on Thursday, July 14, 2005 at 1 p.m. Interment Springcreek Cemetery. Peacefully at his residence, Thursday, March 10, 2005, Charles Edward " Chuck" " Ed" BROWNING, 83, of Crediton. Beloved husband of the late Ina Doris (KILLEN) BROWNING (2003.) Loved father and father-in-law of Charles "Charlie" and Doreen BROWNING of Crediton, Allen "Al" and Linda BROWNING of White Rock, British Columbia, Lee and Susan BROWNING of Edmonton. Loving grandpa of Heather COOMBS, Charlene and Jeff POAG, Teresa BROWNING and Scott, Jodie BROWNING and Rob, Laura BROWNING and Michael BROWNING and great-grandpa to Owen POAG, Andrea POAG, Jessica POAG, Devon KIM and Tegan KIM. Dear brother-in-law of Albert KILLEN and companion Ruby of Truro, Nova Scotia. Predeceased by his parents Elmer and Sarah (FORD) BROWNING. Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman and son Funeral Home, Dashwood, with visitation Sunday 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9 p.m.; where the Funeral Service will be held Monday, March 14, 2005 at 2 p.m. The Reverend Sheila MacGREGOR officiating. Charles was a member of the Exeter Oddfellows #67, Royal Canadian Legion, R.E. Pooley Branch #167, Exeter, served with the Canadian Army, United States Army Air Force during World War 2 and retired from the Royal Canadian Air Force. A resident of Chatham, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, August 16, 2005 at the age of 76. Born in Thamesville, son of the late William and Mable (ELLIS) BAXTER. Bob was retired from International Harvester. Beloved husband of the late Colleen (PHILLIPS) BAXTER (2002.) Loving father Amos BAXTER and his wife Irma of Niagara Falls, Dorothy INGLIS and her husband Stephen of Courtright, Burt BAXTER of Chatham, Bill BAXTER and his wife Patricia TENGELIS of Sarnia, Jim BAXTER and his wife Gail of Chatham, and Catherine SIDDALL and her husband Gary of Bothwell. Cherished grandfather of Kerry, Malcolm, Rebecca, and Kevin INGLIS, Billie Jo BAXTER, Cynthia (BAXTER) and her husband Todd BUGERA, Dan, Chris, and Michelle WAMMES, Tyler and Sean SIDDALL. Dear brother of Marg MOREHOUSE of Thamesville, Shirley SIMPSON of Brampton, Marilyn MORTELE of Ridgetown, and Beverly and her husband Eric MacDONALD of Carrying Place, Ontario. At Bob's request, there will be no public visitation or funeral. Cremation has taken place and a Family Interment Service will occur at a later date. Of Chateau Gardens, London, and formerly of Chatham and Wabash, passed away peacefully on Saturday October 29, 2005, in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late James W. POAG (1995) and William A. PHILLIPS (1963.) Survived by her sons Don (Pat) PHILLIPS of London, Jim (Peggy) PHILLIPS of London, and George (Susan) PHILLIPS of Ottawa, and step-daughter Virginia. Dear grandmother of Daryl (Renee) PHILLIPS, Michael (Krista) PHILLIPS, Carolyn (Jeff) SAUVÉ, Jeff (Jessica) PHILLIPS, Darlene (Ken) HILLGARTNER, Michael SEIP, Christine (Paul) MURPHY, Caryn (Jason) PHILLIPS, Jason MURPHY, Sarah MURPHY, Joshua MURPHY, Joshua (Cynthia) PHILLIPS, Brooke PHILLIPS and step-grandchildren Ann (Doug) KIRKHAM, Amos (Irma) BAXTER, Dorothy (Steve) INGLIS, Bill (Pat) BAXTER, Burt BAXTER, Cathy (Gary) SIDDALL and Jim (Gail) BAXTER. Also surviving are 31 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Survived by sister-in-law Doris KNIGHT, brothers Charles (Margaret Ann) KNIGHT, Eldon (Ellen) KNIGHT, Ronald (Winnifred) KNIGHT and Lyle (Sharon) KNIGHT and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Merton KNIGHT and Elizabeth JACKSON, brother Carl KNIGHT, step-mother Agnes DYKEMAN and step-daughter Colleen BAXTER. June was a member of Siloam United Church as well as a long term member for 57 years of the Wabash Women's Institute and the Rebekah Lodge, Dresden, for over 34 years. Family and Friends will be received at the Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas Street, London (between Colborne and Waterloo St.), on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be conducted at Siloam United Church, 1240 Fanshawe Park Road East, London, on Tuesday November 1, 2005, at 11: 00 a.m. Interment will follow at 3: 30 p.m. Tuesday in the Mayhew Mt.
