Passed away after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's disease on
Thursday, February 24, 2005, in his 79th year. He will be sadly
missed by his devoted and loving wife

and her husband Larry of Dallas, and son Bryan and his wife Jude
of Dallas. He was cherished by grandchildren Jillian Pivnick

MORTON. Born in
St. Catharines, his first job was in his father's hardware store.
From there he branched out into selling oil heaters and finally,
he founded and was Chief Executive Officer of Cliffside Pipelayers,
one of the most successful underground utility companies in Toronto.
He will always be remembered for his sense of humour and wit
and generosity to others. He loved golf and spent many hours
striving in its blissful pursuit at Donalda Club and Innisbrook
in Florida. A private family service will be held at a later
date to celebrate his joy of life. Special thanks to the staff
at Burloak Long Term Care in Burlington for their compassionate
care. In memory of Irv, please help others by donating to the
Alzheimer Society. (Arrangements entrusted to Smith's Funeral
Home, Burlington, 905-632-3333).

Beloved husband of the late Josephine. Loving father of Mary
