SHERRAH, Sharon
Peacefully, at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital, on Thursday, January 20, 2005, Sharon SHERRAH of North Caradoc, in her 58th year. Beloved wife of Ivan SHERRAH. Dear mother of Jennifer (Dan) Barrett HIRASHIMA of Guelph and Chad Robinson BARRETT and his partner Carrie of Kitchener. Loved step-mother of Linda (Shawn) THOMPSON/THOMSON/TOMPSON/TOMSON of Oshawa, Debra SHERRAH of Saint Thomas, Janet (Dewey) ESSELTINE of Aylmer, Donna UDELL of Iona, and Robert SHERRAH of London. Survived by brothers and sisters, Garry (Lynda) MIELKE of Brockville, Joyce ROLSTON of Mississauga, Ken (Barbara) MIELKE of Sarnia, Peg (Aris) PAKAINS of Aurora, Charles MIELKE and Kevin MIELKE, both of Kitchener. Also survived by sister-in-law Sharon (SHERRAH) SMITH of Chatham. Will be sadly missed by 7 step-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. Sharon was a member of the North Caradoc St. Andrews Presbyterian Church W.M.S. and the Ontario Nurses Association. She graduated from nursing in 1968 and worked for 20 years in the Infant Nursery at the Childrens Hospital of Western Ontario. Friends called at the Elliott-Madill Funeral Home, Mt. Brydges on Friday, January 21 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service followed on Saturday from North Caradoc St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, 8503 Scotchmere Drive, commencing at 11 a.m. with Reverend Kathy FRASER officiating. Interment Mt. Brydges Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Victorian Order of Nurses Strathroy, London Regional Cancer Clinic, or the North Caradoc St. Andrews Presbyterian Church Building Fund would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.

PAKALNIS, Steve Peter
At Dearness Home, London on Sunday, January 30, 2005. Steve Peter PAKALNIS of London and formerly of Rodney in his 92nd year. A native of Lithuania, a veteran of World War 2 as well as a prisoner of war, Steve immigrated to Canada in 1948, subsequently settled in Rodney where he became a successful tobacco farmer and raised his family with his wife Katie. "Little Steve" was well known for his creation and sharing of his fine wine. Lovingly remembered by his daughters Elizabeth PAKALNIS of London, Angela FLEMING/FLEMMING of Belleville, Regina WHELAN and her husband Michael of London and son Peter PAKALNIS and his wife Dawn WHALLS of Wyoming. Loving grandfather of Steven and Megan FLEMING/FLEMMING, Sarah WHELAN, Charlie and Karina PAKALNIS. Friends may call at the Rodney Chapel on Wednesday, February 2, 2005 from 1: 00-2:00 p.m. Funeral service will follow at 2: 00 p.m., Pastor R. KARN officiating. Cremation to follow. At Saint Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Tuesday, February 8, 2005. Stuart Orville LIDDLE of R.R.#6, Aylmer in his 57th year. Beloved husband of Louise (SCANLAN) LIDDLE. Dear father of Rodney LIDDLE and wife Karyn of Aylmer, Rhonda CLARK and husband Dana of R.R.#6, Aylmer, Veronica VAN HAM and husband Jack of Waterloo. Grandfather to Austin, Taffyn, Tiffany and Brayden CLARK, Kyle and Andrew VAN HAM. Dear brother to Betty PAKE and husband Walter of R.R.#4, Aylmer. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Born in Saint Thomas November 21, 1948 son of the late Orville and Violet (PERCY) LIDDLE. A public memorial service will be held at the H.A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Saturday, February 12, 2005 at 2: 00 pm. Donations to a charity of choice would be appreciated. Visitation Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.

STASIEROWSKI, Frances Rosie (née MURACK)
Passed away peacefully folllowing a 15 month battle with cancer, on Tuesday, September 13th, 2005 at Princess Margaret Hospital at the age of 78. Loving mother of Peter and his wife Rosemary of Mississauga, Teresa and her husband Randy TUCKER of Elmvale, and Marie and her husband Dan LEAVEY of Oakville. Cherished grandmother of Wesley, Michael, Joanna, Jacquelin and Steven. Dear sister of Margaret DOMBROSKIE of Barry's Bay, Annie YANTHA, and Agnes PAKOLAK of Renfrew, and sister-in-law of Barbara MURACK of Barry's Bay. Frances will be missed dearly and fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Paul (1986), daughter Irene (1995), brothers Adam, John, Sylvie, and Angus MURACK. Many thanks to the doctors and nurses at Princess Margaret Hospital for taking such wonderful care of Mom. Friends may call on Thursday, September 15th, 2005 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. David's Parish (2601 Major Mackenzie Drive), on Friday, September 16th, 2005 at 11 o'clock. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery.
