SMITH of Chatham. Will be sadly missed by 7 step-grandchildren
as well as many nieces and nephews. Sharon was a member of the
North Caradoc St. Andrews Presbyterian Church W.M.S. and the
Ontario Nurses Association. She graduated from nursing in 1968
and worked for 20 years in the Infant Nursery at the Childrens
Hospital of Western Ontario. Friends called at the Elliott-Madill
Funeral Home, Mt. Brydges on Friday, January 21 from 2-4 and
7-9 p.m. Funeral service followed on Saturday from North Caradoc
St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, 8503 Scotchmere Drive, commencing
at 11 a.m. with Reverend Kathy
FRASER officiating. Interment Mt.
Brydges Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations to the
Victorian Order of Nurses Strathroy, London Regional Cancer Clinic,
or the North Caradoc St. Andrews Presbyterian Church Building
Fund would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.

PAKALNIS of London and formerly of Rodney in his 92nd year. A
native of Lithuania, a veteran of World War 2 as well as a prisoner
of war, Steve immigrated to Canada in 1948, subsequently settled
in Rodney where he became a successful tobacco farmer and raised
his family with his wife Katie. "Little Steve" was well known
for his creation and sharing of his fine wine. Lovingly remembered
