BOWIE, Jean (née GODLEY)
Quietly at Southbrook Lodge in Brampton, on Sunday, July 31st, 2005, at the age of 87 years. Jean BOWIE, a long-time resident of Oakville and formerly of Winnipeg was the beloved wife of the late John. Loving mother of Chris and his wife Sue of Ottawa and Jane and her husband Jake PAJAK of Windsor. Dearly loved Ganny of Brendan, Michael, Stephanie, Andrew, Kimberly, Amanda and Michael. Dear sister of the late Gertrude AFFLECK and Marion MacDONALD. Jean will be fondly remembered by her relatives and Friends. A Service of Remembrance will be held at the Hopedale Presbyterian Church, 156 3rd Line (between Lakeshore and Rebecca), Oakville, on Friday, August 5th, 2005 at 1 p.m. If you wish, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family. Passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 27, 2005 at the Trillium Health Centre, Mississauga. Dearly beloved wife of George MITCHELL for 62 years. She will be sadly missed by nieces Barbara CLARK (David) and Brenda MAZERALL, and nephew John HELLMANN (Donna) and sister-in-law Winnifred MITCHELL (John,) all of Ottawa. Predeceased by brothers Donald THOMPSON/THOMSON/TOMPSON/TOMSON (Lil,) Ward THOMPSON/THOMSON/TOMPSON/TOMSON (Helen,) Alston THOMPSON/THOMSON/TOMPSON/TOMSON (Agnes,) Melvon THOMPSON/THOMSON/TOMPSON/TOMSON (Annie) and sisters Violet PAJET (Cecil), Muriel BRITT (Kenneth) and Eleanor HELLMANN (Joachim). Friends may call at the Turner and Porter "Peel" Chapel, 2180 Hurontario Street, Mississauga (Hwy. 10 North of Queen Elizabeth Way) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday, March 4, 2005 at 11 o'clock. Interment Beechwood Cemetery, Ottawa. As expressions of sympathy, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer Society.

Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 24, 2005 at his Dom Lipa Residence at the age of 86. Beloved brother of Frank (Frances). Dearest uncle of Anne (Allan) ALEXANDER, Barbara (Denny) SCHAEFFER. Cherished great-uncle of Eric, Nicole, Katy, and Matthew.
