Suddenly, at her residence, on March 21, 2005, at the age of 79. Dearly beloved wife of the late Ken (Kauko) PAANANEN. Loving mother of Roy. Survived by her sister-in-law Rae PAYNE and predeceased by her brothers Gordon, Doug, Howard and Robert. Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lakeshore Blvd. W. (between Islington and Kipling Aves., at 14th Street, 416-259-3705) on Saturday, from 12 noon until time of Funeral Service at 1 p.m. in the Chapel. Cremation. Retired employee of Mount Sinai Hospital. Aftera brief illness, surrounded by her family, at the North York General Hospital, on Saturday, April 9, 2005. Beloved wife of the late Peter (1973). Dear mother of Anne Marie PAANANEN (Allan), Kevin, Brian, Colleen MARSHALL and the late Barry (1976.) Loving grandmother of Lori Anne (Justin COONEY), Eric (Heather), Matthew, Daniel, Caitlin and the late Jonathan (2004). Great-grandmother of Jeremy, Jessica, Elissa and Lauren. Sister of Camilla McGRADE (Hugh.) Aunt Mary will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Her compassion and understanding will always be remembered. Friends may call at the Funeral Home of O'Connor Bros., 1871 Danforth Ave., Toronto (2 blocks west of Woodbine subway station), on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass in St. Dunstan's Church (3150 Danforth Ave., Toronto) on Thursday at 10: 30 a.m. Spring interment in St. Paul's Cemetery, Dornoch, Ontario. "Mary drew her strength through her faith and devotion to our Blessed Lady". In lieu of flowers, donations to the either the St. Vincent de Paul Society or the Children's Wish Foundation would be appreciated. (Supervised parking at the funeral home.)

Passed away peacefully on April 4, 2005 at Toronto East General Hospital in his 81st year. Predeceased by his wife Irja (2004). He will be sadly missed by his daughters Marjut KING, Anne (Harley) DOWDALL of Peterborough and son John. Grandfather to Laura (Mike) and Jason CHARISH, Gregory and Kristen KING. Predeceased by son-in-law Paul KING. Passed away in the arms of his beloved family at home in Pickering, Ontario on Tuesday, April 26, 2005, at the age of 62. Loving husband of Reet and cherished father of Tiiu and Alex. He is survived by his mother Margaret, mother-in-in-law Ilse PAAS, brother Gord and wife Caroline, brothers-in-law Tom and Madis PAAS. He will be deeply missed by his family and Friends. The family is grateful for the exceptional care provided by the Nurses of Care Partners, Pam D., Pam M., Sandra and Valerie.
