73, of Terence Bay, passed away Saturday, April 30, 2005 at home.
Born in Toronto, Ontario, he was the
son of the late Fred and
Margarite
(ADAM/ADAMS)
OTLEY. He retired from Air Canada after 26
years of service and then worked at Babcock International with
his wife. George was an avid golfer who accomplished 4 holes
in one, he was an oil painter and loved to travel, and after
retiring he spent 10 years in Arizona before moving to Halifax,
at which time he loved to play cards, and lately he joined the
billiard's club in Shad Bay. Surviving are his wife of 44 years,

brothers Kenneth and Perry. At George's request cremation has
taken place under the direction of Atlantic Funeral Home, 6552
Bayers Road, Halifax. There will be no visitation. A memorial
service will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 4, 2005 at St. Paul's
Anglican Church, Terence Bay, Reverend Lisa Vaughn officiating. Interment
will be at a later date. Family flowers only. Donations in memory
may be made to Canadian Diabetes Association. Online condolences

(Charter member of the Thornton Lion's Club) Peacefully at the
Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie on Sunday, May 15th, 2005. Gord
DAVIS of Thornton at the age of 68. Beloved husband of Lynne
for 45 years. Loving father of Tom and his wife Arlynne, Tammy
CLARK and her husband Rob, Stephen and his wife
Karla, and predeceased
by daughter Lynda. Dear grandfather of six grandchildren and
one great-grandchild. Predeceased by his brother Art and survived
by sister-in-law Catherine
OTLEY and brother Don and his wife
Crystal. He will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews and other
family members. Friends may call at Steckley-Gooderham Funeral
Home, 201 Minet's Point Road at Yonge Street, Barrie on Tuesday
from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held from Christ
Church - St. Jude's (7330 - 9th Line between the Baxter Road
and the 20th Side Road, Ivy) on Wednesday, May 18th at 11: 00
a.m. Cremation to follow. Memorial donations to the Canadian
Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. Condolences
