Delbert served with the special radar investigations unit of
the Royal Air Force from 1942-1945 being involved with 24 missions
over Germany. He was a proud Legion member. Del was a kind and
gentle man who lived his life with honesty and integrity, grit,
insight and quiet reflection, and with optimism. Even in his
later years while dealing with cancer, he lived his life with
hope. The family will receive relatives and Friends at Christ
Church, Newbury on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral
Service will be celebrated at Christ Church on Wednesday, March
16 at 1: 30 p.m. Reverend Christine
CRAWFORD officiating. Cremation
with interment of ashes at Christ Church Cemetery, Port Stanley.
Memorial donations may be made to the Royal Canadian Legion Poppy
Fund, Mount Brydges Animal Clinic, or South Ridge Animal Clinic.
Royal Canadian Legion Branch 219 will conduct at service at Christ
Church, Newbury on Tuesday evening at 7: 00p.m. Arrangements by
